This place is wonderfully quiet even though it is close to the heart of the city. Fredi and his team were incomparable hosts, attentive to all our needs. Hugs to the staff!

We loved everything about this place!

We had the most amazing stay at Casa Santa Lucia. From the moment we checked in, we were made to feel so welcome, and the staff did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as they could. They were helpful, friendly, and added nice touches to make the stay extra special. The location is great and a short walk to the centre and sites. The rooms are amazing, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable, whilst the breakfast is excellent and set in a beautiful room. I would strongly recommend this hotel to all San Cristobal visitors!

Very nice atmosphere very close to city center and all the attractions. They treated us excellent and helped us book tours and acquire our taxi back to the airport. Definitely will keep them in mind for our next stay. Great Great breakfast!!!! Even gave us a to go box for trip back to airport!!!

The breakfast was fabulous...Wonderful Mexican specialties but able to modify the order to get plain old 2 eggs over easy with bacon and toast! I would recommend the Moulettes (SP??).

The room wasn't huge, but I don't think we paid for huge.

The staff was very accommodating. The common area is cute. The breakfast was very good.

We reserved a two bed accommodation. The room was not what we had expected. It is in the second floor with a spiral staircase leading up to it. It looks like an attic room. There is only one window facing the dinning area. The bathroom has no window or fan. There is only a small opening the size of a medium fist. This room is better suited as a prison cell. We felt punished for having stayed there. The only people that would fit there comfortably are children, mind you we are both shorter than 5’4”. To top it off, my friend got Montezuma’s revenge, it was ghastly. Besides that, the hotel is probably one of the farthest ones from the center. Normally I prefer this, since I’m a light sleeper, but our room was a corner room that faced the main road. We could hear the traffic the entire time because you can’t close the small opening in the bathroom. Lastly, I wish they would not lock the door if they aren’t going to provide a key for the main entrance. If they are going to lock it, have someone always there to open it. It’s suppose to be a hotel, guest should be able to come in and out as they please. I will never again reserve a room if I cannot see all 4 walls of the room!

I wish the window in the room opened or they had a fan available. I found the room a little too warm and stuffy with no air circulation.

The property is so beautifully decorated, walking distance to all attractions and restaurants and bars. The room is very nice and comfortable. The staff are amazing , they made us a free upgrade to a king suite and helped us with the excursions reservations. We loved our stay and totally recommend it to everyone ! Great stay

The room was a bit noisy as it was directly on the street. The breakfast was very good in quantity and options but it could have tasted better

We chose this hotel for cleanliness and breakfast options. The cleanliness didn't disappoint; the location was nice and quiet; and the rooms had a lovely design with a traditional touch.

There were very few breakfast options, even less for vegetarians. We had 2 things to chose from and had that for 7-8 days, and even though they took notes at check-in about our diet, we were never offered any additional option. What was really sad when we asked one day for the lunch box, as we were heading out early. Again, we asked for no animals in the sandwich. After several hours drive and a hike, very hungry, we realized they ignored the request. Do not disturb signs are not respected. As the safe was tiny and I was traveling with all my professional photography gear, I would have preferred no cleaning on days I left my gear there, but the sign was ignored every time. The staff was not really interested in helping with information or any other issues during our stay, when we asked they often just made up anything. A minor annoyance: closet was very small, and did not fit any longer dresses.
