Beautiful old property which is set up really well for a family break.
The WiFi was terrible and mobile phone signal was weak.

The property was inviting and cosy. The hosts really have thought of everything and they went the extra mile to really make our stay special. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed which was so helpful considering we travelled with a baby. There were plenty of games and books to keep both us and our four year old entertained. Also loved that they took the time to decorate the property for Christmas.

Amazing comfortable stay at the Granary. Everything you need is here. Even wood and kindle for the lovely wood burner was available. Highly recommended!

A beautiful cottage, and with incredible friendly host. Also really really really clean! I appreciated how it was fully stocked, not only foodwise, but like everything you needed was there. Enough towels, kitchen towels, more than enough plates and cups, oven, airfryer, toaster, kettle, microwave, like truly everything. And then Janet really loves sharing her love for the farm animals with the kids, truly enjoyable and very welcoming!

The location and host were fantastic. Cottage was comfortable and clean, with a stocked fridge and cupboards on arrival, which was really handy when travelling with young kids. We will definitely be visiting again.

Stocked fridge and freezer was perfect for getting started for the week. Host was friendly, gave us a quick tour of the house and was easy to contact with issues during the week. House was comfortable and we loved the location on a farm with sheep and chickens!
The WiFi was poor, with the connection from the router out to the internet being slow and unreliable - but that's probably the best connection you can get with the rural location. Vodafone mobile coverage was reasonable though so we weren't totally cut off!

Lovely cottage on farm, very rural and beautifully kept. Fridge and freezer stocked with food along with dry goods. Very gracious hosts, had all the local information we needed. Please note that there is a downstairs toilet!

Everything was very well organised. The property was in an ideal location. The provisions exceeded anything we had experienced before. Excellent accommodation

Excellent location, multiple attractions within short drive including Alton Towers. Hosts were amazing with the children. Farm animals onsite was a treat for my youngest.

Everything about the stay was perfect. Great communication, lovely host, and fantastic house. They provided a load of food for no extra cost, and we also enjoyed lots of eggs from the hens. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, who even showed our son around their farm and introduced him to the new baby lambs. Wouldn't hesistate to stay there again.
