We tried to communicate with the guesthouse in advance about tour booking and transport but they did not reply. When we arrived, they brought us to a one-bed room, saying that the twin-bed room with ocean view we booked was not available!!! And we paid for that room already when the booking was made! I was very upset and said I will complain to booking.com. They should respect their guests - once guests paid for the room, it should be reserved for the guests and should not be sold to other guests even when they offered to pay a higher price. But we had no choice as all rooms were fully booked, and at very late evening after a long travel from Puerto Princesa we were too tired to go out and find another place to stay. The bedsheet was not clean, no towels in the room, the shower was too weak and most importantly, there was no hot water, so I went to sleep dirty. The next day they apologized that they missed our booking therefore allowed a guest to extend their stay in the room we booked, and that the guest would check out soon and they will move us to that room. After the tour we came back, the room for the 2nd night was exactly the room we booked, and although the shower was still weak, at least there was hot water. But then the 3rd day things got bad again: no hot water, and then at night the water stopped running, no water for flushing the toilet at all. We went down to the reception at 7am but did not find anybody for help, so we had to use the water tap on the ground floor in the public area. About the staff, although they are very economical in terms of smiling, most of them were friendly and helpful, we appreciated that. Regarding the location, the guesthouse is in the most busy street, in close distance to restaurants and bars, but the noise from music in bars is very loud all the night (starts in the evening and stops at around 4-5am in the morning), so if one wants a quiet place or have difficulties with sleep, then you should choose another place.

Soo noisy, right next to the club amigos who plays reggaeton till 4am, you have 2 hours to sleep till the trafic starts at 6am. It was very frustration with that club playing so loud music and all the drunk people walking by on the street yelling and screaming. Except from that they turned off the hot water all the time, even when you told them to turn it on they didnt. Wifi does not work on the top floor, the router is in the reception only, and its very slow even if you get connected. The TV is just decoration since they dont have any channels, they said wifi only, though with that slow wifi you will not becable to watch anything anyway. They say every room has a firealarm, as you can see mine was missing. The staff looked soo troubled everytime you asked for anything at all, toiletpaper, a towel or to turn on the water it looked like the world came crashing down on them. One time at 2pm when most guest are out suddenly my doorknob turned and the door slowly opened so i pulled it open and said what are you doing, they guy who is always there wearing a cap said oh sorry sir and showed me a broom like if he was cleaning, very weird since there was a lady who did the cleaning and why on earth turn my doorknob, watch the photo i took of my door and ask youself if they need to open the door to broom there, well you be the judge. The only one that was actually nice was the woman who also lives in denmark, I dont know if she was the owner but at least very friendly and nice to talk to. All in all, dont go there, rent something 200 meters in either direction, probably cheaper and you will get some sleep the further away from amigos you are.

It was okay to stay there two nights. If you are a party animal and you want to stay in the middle of the center with bars, restaurants, shops and cafès, this could be a place to stay for you. The beach is also very close; you just have to walk through a little alley opposite.

This place is quite overpriced for what you get. My room (and the other room I could look at) were a bit shabby and smelled mouldy ( I don`t know what the other rooms are like) The staff is not actually unfriendly, but also not very motivated. The WIFI only works in the area of the reception, which is unfortunately also the smoking area. This guesthouse is directly at Hama Street, where you will hear traffic, bars and party people (I prefer more the quiet places, but if you like the lively town center of El Nido, this might not bother you)
