We are a family of 4 (with 2 teenaged boys). My family lives in Irondequoit but doesn't have enough room for all of us to stay.... so we booked this house. It was WAY better than a hotel or inconveniencing family. I would definitely stay there again.

I suggest a few towel racks be installed however.

Pros:
Excellent location, dead-end street in a relatively quiet neighborhood, very close to amenities and attractions. Neighbors are nice...
Neat and clean house.
Comfortable beds, enough sitting areas to sit and relax.
No trouble getting in, lock box on door.
Cons:
Although it is advertised to sleep many, there are truly only 3 bedrooms. The second floor is one open room with a queen bed, a twin trundle bed, and lots of floor space. This would be GREAT if you have a bunch of little kids, but not so great when you have all adult children/with significant others that wanted some privacy (as we did).
If you are a light sleeper, be advised--ALL the floors squeak and creak, and most of the doors squeak and/or clunk.
Very few places to hang towels/robes, etc in the bathrooms, and nowhere to hang a towel in the kitchen.
If you are planning on doing any real cooking, bring along a few of your favorite pans and your good knife. Kitchen equipment is quite variable.
Also, bring or buy your salt/pepper/sugar/spices, as there are none there.

This was the perfect house for us. House is way bigger than you think and very cozy and felt safe! Great communication with host and everything was perfect!

The 5 of us, husband and wife and 3 daughters, 14, 16, and 18, went to visit our son at Rochestwr Institute of Technology.
We stayed here because it could accomodate the 5 of us, and was within drining distance of RIT.
When we first got there we arrived an "checked the place out."
Upstairs has a distinct smell of smoke but was quickly subdued with a can of Fabreeze. This was the reason for losing a star.
The upstairs was an amazing set up for the teenage girls. The enjoyed having their own space and bathroom and TV.
My wife and I enjoyed the downstairs bedroom amd bathroom.
The only reason this place did not get 5 stars was due to the ever creaking floor. Whoever install the subfloor under the wood floor did not nail it enough. There is definitely no sneaking around in this house.
We had great communication with the host and we made them aware of any issues immediately.
We would definitely stay here again

The home is comfortable, clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to interesting sites in the city. The stairs to the upper bedroom and bathroom are quite steep, which could pose a problem for some. But the railing is sturdy.

We have family in Irondequoit near Lake so location was perfect. House was comfortable. It felt like a safe street in a quiet neighborhood.
We only made coffee there but the kitchen had it all so cooking would have been easy. It was very clean. My niece loved the en suite upstairs room and TV.

Great stay in this lovely home in a quiet neighborhood close to the expressways, grocery stores, restaurants, Target, etc… Would definitely stay again when in Rochester visiting family and friends.

The home was clean and the neighborhood was really nice. We felt safe here. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch around sunset and sipping a drink to relax.
The furniture was dated but most importantly it was clean. The TV had apps such as Netflix so we could sign in and watch our favorite TV shows.
The location was good. It was very close to a Wegmans and a Tim Hortons.

This is a beautiful house on a dead end street with little traffic, and all the neighbors are very friendly. We even saw a Milwaukee Brewers flag down the block, GO WISCONSIN! The suite upstairs is huge, and plenty of room in house for us 5 grown sized people.

This property was relatively clean, however, had a vary damp, molded odor. The inside stairs are dangerously steep. Decorative pillows were dirty and worn. Note: master bedroom closet appears to have a leak in the ceiling.

The one and only complaint, would be lack of blankets. Due to the large number of sleeping areas they didn’t have enough blankets. However it was a positive that they had so many areas for people to sleep. And having 2 showers was also great for a 3 bedroom house.

Very clean property and convenient location to everything we needed to do while there. Jo is very very quick to respond and we really had no questions except for missing sheets which she corrected immediately. Recommend staying there.

This was our first VRBO experience. And we will be doing it again. This house reminded us of the home we grew up in so it seemed extra cozy to us. House was clean. Host was very responsive to our texts when we arrived. Kitchen had everything we needed. Neighborhood was very quiet. Will be back if we are ever in the area. Linda

We had a great time at the house . Property manager was a great help with some last minute changes do to the bad weather. Very well located to go all type of shopping and very close to family.

Big Rooms, Convenient location, Overall Great Stay!
We live a few neighborhoods over from Jo's cozy home and needed a convenient location for me and part of my wedding party to stay at the week of my wedding. Jo's home was perfect. The upstairs bedroom is massive and has it's own bathroom so it was perfect for one of my groomsmen and his family. The two bedrooms on the first floor also quite spacious. The location is convenient to 104 and Wegmans. Jo was quick with responses to our questions and check-in and check-out were super easy. The neighbors were very friendly and we felt super comfortable here. Overall great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well equipped. We could spread out and have some downtime. Teens enjoyed the upstairs. Also so convenient, close to family, Wegman's, and can jump on route 104 quickly. Nice quiet location and neighborhood. I recommend it and would look to visit again.

This property worked out very well for our group. The house was very clean and getting access was easy. We had 9 people and we all fit comfortably. It was convienen having 2 full bathrooms. My brother’s family of 4 used the downstairs bedrooms and bath and my family of 5 spread out in the upstairs bedroom and had the bathroom to ourselves. Neighborhood is nice. We were able to get our walks and runs in and felt totally safe. Close to gas and stores. Thanks for a great stay!
