Charming little cottage right on Three Ponds. Perfect spot to watch the loons, kayak/ canoe, and swim.

Owner was over the top with hospitality. She made our stay very pleasant. We highly recommend this cottage on Milton Pond.

This is our 3rd year renting the Cottage from Judy. We were extremely surprised to find the Cottage now had been painted which made it is much brighter and overall made it seem more like home! The new upgraded TV with full WiFi was a huge bonus and improvement so that way I could still check on important emails while away and allowed the kids to watch their movies off their iPads at night. We of course enjoy the views of the lake and swimming daily. We even tried fishing this year towards the rocks and was amazed how many fish are over that way. We swam with loons and even had fish swimming with us some days and nights. Of course Judy is always very welcoming and asks how things are during the stay, it very reassuring she’s there incase there’s any needs that pop up. We can’t wait to rent again!

Cozy, pristine cottage mere steps from the water. This spot is in a quieter, private cove away from the busier sections of this lake, and lends itself nicely to swimming, kayaking and just chilling out. Water is crystal clear, clean sandy beach. Absolutely would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed a week at this lakeside cottage and we enjoyed it very much. It's a great place to relax and unwind and enjoy the beach, swimming, kayaking, fishing, sunsets, and the list goes on. Judy, the owner, is excellent and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay and the cottage is way above average as far as what is available for the guests and the cleanliness and general condition. We spent much time on the water and the owners who live next door are very friendly and accommodating. Vrbo should do a better job of providing info and setting expectations. We had to contact the owner who responded very promptly and helped make our stay very comfortable. Guests should be advised that the beach is shared although we enjoyed the little contact we had with others, and that the WIFI is sporadic..

We were very happy with the lake as it was easy to get in and out of our kayaks. The scenery was nice and calming.

Just delightful ..brought back childhood memories including freight train whistles,loons,boats& birds.....

We absolutely had a wonderful stay here again this year! The Cottage is so cozy, has everything you need and the outside is absolutely gorgeous. Judy the Owner is so friendly and gives you space but will also talk with you so you feel like she’s a family friend. You have your own Beach and the views are really nice while sitting in the cottage and outside on the porch. We can’t wait to book again for next year!

Judy was a WONDERFUL host! The property is even more lovely than it appears in the photos. Judy was responsive to all of our questions and so gracious to our family (my husband, myself and our 2, 8 and 9 year olds). We had a very relaxing and fun week. This is the ideal spot to relax and recharge. The cabin is very private, decorated, furnished and supplied wonderfully with kitchen, bath and bedding necessities. The beach area and the view can't be beat. Canoe and kayaks are ready and the water is literally 20 steps from the door. Day trips to Portland or Winnipesaukee are easy and there are some good eats nearby. We enjoyed visiting with Judy upon arrival and getting some background on the area. Don't pass this over - it's a great couples getaway!

We enjoyed staying in this sweet cottage in this peaceful setting.… breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the porch daily, with a beautiful view… Swimming every day.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the property all week. The house and location was exactly as advertised, and was in good shape. The lake was great, and the beach access was ideal for my 2 children. We would come back again.

Judy was very easy to talk too and Helped us with any questions we needed. The cabin is very beautiful and the pictures don’t do justice, it’s much bigger than they show. It was perfect for my kids and I. This was our first vacation together and we made some great memories! The cabin has everything you need from cleaning supplies, dishes to cook, movies, books and bedding! Very very nice! Super easy checking in and out also was a plus! We will definitely look into renting again thanks to this great week!

The cottage was as nice as it looked in the pictures.It was comfortable and clean.The deck was wonderful.It was quite private and had everything we needed.The owner,Judy,was so nice.It was a pleasure to meet her.My sister and I had a great week,and hope to return next year

This lovely lakeside cottage far exceeded our expectations. It is nestled on a peaceful cove with a sandy beach that is perfect for swimming and launching the canoe and kayaks that are available on the property. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated and offers lovely views of the pond from both the living room and the outdoor deck. The owner could not have been more helpful in responding to our requests and offering wonderful suggestions concerning the surrounding areas. Simply put, we could not have been happier with our decision to spend a week here, as It afforded us exactly the quiet summer New England lakeside vacation that we were seeking. We are already making plans to return next year.

We loved our stay at this cottage. It was the ideal location with the perfect amenities. The beach was perfect for our small kids. Also the location is pretty central to the best attractions in the area I E Mountians, Lake Region and City.

My wife, daughter, and I flew to NE to get away from the hustle and bustle of Denver, CO and was looking forward to some R&R in a remote location. The cabin and scenery were beautiful and Judy was welcoming and actually loaned us chairs and sand toys for my daughter. After the first day she kept coming over... One instance she asked me to get out of my chair while I was sitting with my feet in the lake to set her towel on it while she went for a swim... Another day she came down and told my 60 year old father to put his cigarette out while he was sitting on the beach. That day while my family was there she watered the trees around the whole property and every time I looked up she was watching us. After that we felt like we were constantly being watched from her house perched on the hill right next to the cabin. We just stopped spending time there and found other things to do towards the end of the trip. We were looking forward to having my family in the area spend time at the cabin but it became uncomfortable. If you're looking to be left alone this is not the place. If you don't mind having somebody around then it's a beautiful spot, great shorefront, and neat cabin. We would not stay here again and it's unfortunate because it truly is a great spot.

We have been fortunate enough to rent this cottage from Judy for the past nine years... during our first visit, our kids were 2 1/2 and 6 months old.. and the cottage and its surroundings are as perfect for us now as they were back then. Judy takes impeccable care of this property; the furnishings have charm, character, and comfort. The beach out front gets wonderful sun from 12pm usually until well after 7:30 or 8pm.. perfect for sunset cocktails on the back porch. And the lake itself is wonderfully sandy, with a great gradual entry for kids. The use of a canoe, kayak, and paddleboat are big hits with our children; the fishing is great; and the surrounding woods offer all the peace and respite you're looking for on vacation. If you are need of something that will truly allow you to step away from the grind of the routine.. you've found it. And with easy convenience for day trips to North Conway, Portsmouth, Wolfboro, or other surrounding areas.. you can be secluded when you choose to be, and active when you don't! Our children have christened this vacation our week at "Judy's Lake" - and we look forward to another 10 years at this wonderful property.. I cannot put enough stars on this review.

My husband and I just spent a wonderful week at Judy's cottage. The cottage was just right for the two of us; clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The best part is that the water and a small sandy beach are literally steps away from the back deck. We took a couple of day trips from the cottage but had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the water. Judy is very nice to work with from the initial contact through the entire process. We hope to return sometime in the future.

My husband and I just got back from a glorious relaxing week at this lovely cottage. It was just the ticket for some quiet down time. Judy was wonderful and the cottage is so adorable, exactly as the pictures show. Super clean!! As much as we thought we'd be venturing off during the day, we found ourselves sitting and enjoying the lovely water views. You cannot ask for a more serene setting.

My husband & I LOVED Judy's cottage! We sat in the afternoon sun & read. Went kayaking, (they were supplied) a couple of times. Watched and listened to the Loons. Slept in. Cooked in & ate out. Don't miss breakfast at the town gas station. YES, that's right! their motto is..."EAT HERE...GET GAS & WORMS". They sell everything. We also did a few tourist day trips. Cog train up Mt. Washington. As well as a beautiful Fall Foliage drive and lunch to Lake Winnipesaukee. Another day trip was to North Conway. The owner Judy, gave us great infor. about the area without ever being intrusive. We would definitely recommend this heavenly cottage to a couple, a single person or a couple with one or maybe two children. The cottage is wonderfully full of light & air. Very cheery, happy warm colors. Judy definitely has a skill for decoration! My husband & I would return in a New York minute. In fact we really didn't want to leave! To sum it up...If you are looking for a GREAT PLACE to stay that won't coast 'an arm & a leg'...this cottage is your GETAWAY PLACE ! Just leave a week open for our return.

My husband and I spent a heavenly week in late September at this lovely cottage. We have been vacationing in the lakes region for years but decided to try a new lake and happened upon this gem in 2011. It was perfect! The cottage is even nicer than pictured here. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need or want. Since we were there in late September, I didn't bring a swimsuit...we had "Indian Summer", however, and I ended up swimming in my clothes. The sandy beach is great; shallow with gradual slope~good for small children, I would think. We brought our own kayaks but found that there were already some there we could use. We saw many loons as we kayaked. Listening to their haunting sounds at night is magical. Nothing can beat sitting on the deck watching the sun set while sipping a glass of wine! The cottage is located in nice area and was close enough to take day trips to Portsmouth, around Winnepesaukee, etc. The owners are extremely lovely people. I hope this was our first of many vacations at this cottage!

We had always wanted to spend a vacation in a cottage on a lake and when we saw this place, we knew we had found our spot. This bright, cheery, clean cottage was perfect. Every window looks to woods or the lake, with just one other property in view and even they were there only on the weekend. We read on the beach and deck, feasted on the extremely generous and inexpensive lobster rolls from "The Pink Place," watched the water and distant shore change with the shifts of light and clouds, took a scenic day trip and relaxed, relaxed, relaxed. The cottage is exactly as depicted on the website and Judy and Paul, our hosts, are lovely people. We found it perfect for the two of us, but can picture a couple with one or two young children there also. Two loons were in evidence all week, but five swam very close by on our last morning, a stunning farewell. We're grateful to have found "our" cottage!

We recently returned from a wonderful vacation. The cabin is located in a beautiful, serene, private area surrounded by pine trees, right on a clean beach. My husband and two young girls (10 months and 3.5 years old) spent most of the week either on the porch or in the water. The owners were wonderful and provided not only a well maintained and comfortable cottage but included everything we could have needed for a relaxing and enjoyable time. With young children it was a real treat not to have to spend the week getting in and out of the car. I highly recommend this property if you need to get away from it all but know that civilization is within reach...it allows you to feel that way. They have a great little place for lobster rolls and ice cream close by.

This Cottage is exactly as pictured. Very clean ! Its the perfect spot for some R &R and it's a beautiful location lots to do within an hours drive.

The description and photos do not deceive: The cottage is a very attractive place with a sandy beach and clean water for swimming, especially for children as the water is shallow until you get out a ways. The kitchen is nicely equipped and the main bed firmly comfortable (we didn't use the guest beds). And yes, the sun sets directly in front of you as you face the water, providing great opportunities for photographers. The outdoor grille works fine, and when we notified the owner the LP tank ran out, it was refilled the following morning. Owner Judy also took time to enable us to get online with our laptop. Any negatives? Nothing major. The shower stall, as with most camps, is small. The neighbors to the right have a speedboat and do waterskiing on the weekend, and other powered craft use the pond, so if you desire perfect quiet that might be an issue. But generally it's a peaceful location, and you do hear and see loons occasionally. Mosquitoes and other biting insects were few and far between during our July stay. We and family members who visited really enjoyed the cottage and the pond and we will certainly consider a return stay. We didn't feel a need to leave and explore much, as we were already familiar with the area. We did order from the Pizza Nook, though, and their pizza was excellent! With a nice deck to relax on, a grille to do burgers and steak on, and water to swim in or canoe on, we felt little need to venture off the property. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at this cheerful little cottage in mid/late September (make sure you pack some warm clothing) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is clean, comfortable, well maintained and tucked just far enough away. During our stay, we visited McKensie's Farm, Castle in the Clouds, Stonewall Kitchens Warehouse, Portsmouth, Kittery (Maine) all within reasonable traveling distance. When it was time to relax, we canoed around the lake taking in the first signs of Autumn, enjoyed a lakeside campfire, and woke refreshed in the morning to the sound of loons. The owners are cordial and accomodating to say the least. If we had a need or question, it was immediately addressed. I would not hesitate to stay at this charming, bright cozy cottage again.

Our family (2 adults, 2 small children) have been staying at this cottage for a week the past three summers. It is just the right size and is immaculately kept with cute decor and necessary ammenities (updated grill makes it easy to cook in!). The sandy/shallow beach right off the porch is fabulous for little kids, and gets great afternoon sun. Within biking distance to a marina with boat rentals and fabulous ice cream.. a reasonable drive to Story Land and North Conway.. and a perfect hammock for for lazy afternoons and family bonding! The cottage owners are fantastic, accomodating and very welcoming. We love it - it has become our new family tradition!

Very tucked away and private. The cottage is adorable and well-kept. You can swim whenever the whim strikes, canoe, and play around on the rubber kayak, or just cuddle up on the cozy couch overlooking the lake to watch tv or read. The hammock fetched the mid-day sun and was a perfect place to veg out. Everyday I walked the paved road skirting the lake. I felt perfectly safe staying alone there. The owner couldn't of been more gracious. This little gem is a perfect getaway if you want to exercise, enjoy the view and relax.
