Key collection was easy. I'd used a lock box before but they also sent videos of how to use. Good size apartment and good for keeping sound out. Barely heard any outside noise or when my mum was still watching TV. Beds comfy.

Could have done with more pillows, 1 per person is difficult, 2 should be standard. Curtains in the small room didn't quite cover the whole window and the medium bedroom, they didn't close properly. Only 3 chairs for the dining table which is also a bit close to falling apart. We feel a corner sofa and armchair would be better suited for the living room and some more dining room chairs, so there is enough seating for capacity advertised to sit. Also only 2 wine glasses and 1 tumbler. Could do with some cobwebs knocked down. This isn't necessarily negative comments as we slept and managed fine, just some thoughts of how it could be improved.

everything, it had wallpaper peeling off, chipped and peeling paint everywhere, mold around sink, damp and cold, Smelled of curry, marks on table, sofa and chairs, litter everywhere on the street, there was trash and cups of drinks and god knows what else on the door step. gangs of men hanging around didn’t feel safe at all. walked in looked around and walk back out. the worst place I have ever walked into. I have to arrange other accommodation, my husband in sick in hospital we live 2 hours away. I am still trying to get my money back.!!!!!!!

Only ten minutes walk from St James Park so the location was perfect for our visit to Newcastle. The apartment had all the facilities we needed, ie well-sized comfortable bedrooms, bath/shower, fridge, cooker, TV.

Given that there are three double bedrooms it might be better if there was more than one key. You can get around that by leaving the key in the keysafe when out but you need it to lock the door from the inside so not ideal if the kids have gone clubbing until the small hours.

Very dirty neighborhood and very poor customer service

The apartment was clean and spacious. There were generally good facilities (TV, vacuum cleaner).

When I arrived in the evening there was no hot water or heating and the boiler was leaking into a saucepan. I only realised the next afternoon that the boiler had been switched off. Turning it on and adjusting the settings only fixed the hot water, I could not get any heating; a problem in late October. When I arrive somewhere, I expect it to be a decent temperature (even if you have to turn it up) and to be able to have a hot shower. The area (Fenham) is pretty also pretty rough. A gang of men were hanging out 2 doors down when I arrived. The streets are littered. I have stayed there before for access to the General Hospital, but tourists be warned. The walk to the city centre is not too long though.
