Kitchen was fine, oven looks old however and no pantry (baker's rack was sufficient but was overflowing). Plenty of pots/pans and 2 dishwashers did come in handy. Great ski-in/ski-out with ski mud room and undercover patio as you come off the slopes.

It seats 20 for meals and plenty of seating in living room. There is usually a jump built behind the house for skiers to jump and is fun to watch.

Grandparents, parents, kids young and old. Some took full advantage of simply stepping outside to ski, all of us enjoyed the hot tub, and the pool table and large sofas made everyone comfortable inside. The house was large with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, two washer and dryers and a fully stocked kitchen. The management company was quick to respond whenever we needed anything. We will definitely look to stay here again if we are back in West Virginia!

Very well appointed. We didn't need any cooking utensils or supplies other than extra paper towels, trash bags, laundry and dish soaps. All the bedrooms are en suite. The sofas are big enough for everyone, as is the kitchen table. 2 dishwashers, 2 laundry rooms, lots of king-sized beds. Great hot tub. 2 gas fireplaces. Extra fridge in the basement. Very clean, really comfy beds and soft linens! We will definitely rent this again for a big group!!

Each bedroom having it's own bath was a real plus!We spent our days exploring Elakala, Blackwater and Douglas Falls. Lunching at Sirianni's and Hellbenders. Shopping in Davis and Thomas and stopping at The Ice Cream Shop. Evenings were spent relaxing on the large deck.Cooking up some great meals.Playing cards and shooting pool. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars was amazing!We plan on renting this house again next year!

Two open areas provided a choice of activities. Kitchen had everything we needed. No gas grill but two charcoal grills worked fine. The hot tub wasn’t working but one call and it was repaired quickly. The only thing we wished for was a small table for card and board games. Would love to come back in winter.

Having a couple of bedrooms on the main levels was appreciated by older family members. The pool table and hot tub were also popular, and the kitchen and deck grilling options were great for the group.

Reviewer Comments: Stayed at Cedar Greek over New Years... location literally 10 yards from the slope was, of course, extremely convenient. 7 bedrooms with each one having their own attached bathroom - nice! The house was wicked clean... seemed like new furniture and carpeting throughout... plenty of pots / pans / cooking utensils / plates / wine glasses / etc. Very apparent that the owners take a great pride and really put the effort into this vacay home to make it comfy for renters... much appreciated! 5 stars across the board... we've been coming to Timberline off and on for 20 years and this home by far the nicest we have rented. A shout out to Best of Canaan as well... first time we used this management company and they've been the best team we have encountered :-)

We had a few bumps in the road this year. Hot tub not working properly, hot water tank went out, bathroom fan upstairs did not work, and toilet upstairs ran slow. We did report all this to "L" in the office. When we questioned the fire wood, which we had received every year prior, the response was "I called the owner, he said last year was the last year. If you don't believe me, call him yourself".

The single largest disappointment was this staff member "L", who is somewhat condescending and abrupt. Really no need for anyone in our party to be handled abruptly. We take care of this property as if it were our own. We are all adults and well educated; we are paying for a service, which we expect to receive in a polite fashion. A little common courtesy goes a very, very long way.

Our family did rebook for next year. We care for a 95-year-old parent, which can be very stressful. This is the only time of the year we all can be together for an extended period of time to relax and enjoy each other. We are appreciative and respectful of Mr. and Mrs. Manzione's kindness to us throughout the years and hope to continue with this tradition for many years to come.
