This is a lovely and comfortable cottage in a wooded, low-traffic area. Nicely decorated and equipped. Great front porch. Perfect spot for a quiet holiday.

Loved our stay at Island Breeze! The home was absolutely spotless when we arrived and so we’ll stocked with all the essentials. The home was well decorated and very comfortable. There is a clear sense that the home is loved and good memories have been made there. Perfect location that is close to everything on MV while also being tucked away in a quiet residential area. One of the best part’s of our trip was meeting the older Navy veteran that lives next door -Dick. He came over to check on us and we had time to chat. He is fascinating and lovely and it was such a pleasure to meet him. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Island Breeze in Oak Buffs! The home is well cared for, spacious, and had all the amenities to make our end of Summer vacation comfortable. The location was great for us since the street was quiet and close to both Oak Bluffs' downtown and Vineyard Haven's downtown. Two thumbs up and pup approved.

The home was comfortable and accommodating. Having laundry, a deck & grill made it nice for my family for nights we stayed in and saved money. The home was clean. Tasteful and accommodating. Neighbors we kind & not intrusive. I would definitely rent here again for my family.

This house was lovely. We enjoyed staying in it. The problem came when we had last minute problems involving a dog staying with us. We had made plans, which changed. We tried to reach VRBO to tell them and they were VERY difficult to reach, keeping us on hold for an hour. Finally the problem was straightened out. A few days into our stay another associate contacted us saying that he had no documentation that the issue had been resolved. VRBO tried to make our stay in Martha’s Vineyard difficult, but due to the wonderful house and the wonderful surroundings we did manage to have a great time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. We had to call and go through multiple steps to talk to a person. After standing on the porch for 20 minutes, they still could not get us in with a code. They had to tell us were the hide a key was. They were supposed to send someone out to fix this, but no one ever came. Therefore, locking the door upon arriving and leaving each time was an ordeal. We couldn't lock the front door from the inside and hide to walk around the house each night to lock the door and come in on the side door. The bathroom sink drains were clogged and would not drain. The master bed was very uncomfortable and noisy. The living room TV only worked 1 of the 3 days we were there.
Overall, disappointing. Will not be using turn key again.

We had a very nice stay at the house - it was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we had a lot of trouble getting into the house due to a broken lock - this proved to be a repeated significant and stressful problem every time we arrived / departed the house throughout our stay. Additionally, there were no smoke detectors in the house which was both dangerous and upsetting.

This is my second time staying at this rental, this time we got to stay for two weeks. We had a fabulous time. It was a spotless space, is in a great location and we had everything that we needed. It was a great experience.

Loved all the extra touches in home, beach towels, beach chairs and bikes that were available. Perfect stay.

We were giving the wrong access number for the door lock and it took about 2 hours to gain access to the home. There was little to no cell service at the house which made it impossible to call the management company for assistance. A kindly older neighbor let us use his landline at about 10pm. The smoke detector woke us up one night at 2am because the batteries needed changing. Other than that the home and management company were great.

The home and blankets in the living room chest had a smell, perhaps from previous pets and a stench in the basement. I bought candles and kept the windows open as much as possible despite the cold. Bikes in the shed are provided for borrowing. They need repair; the bike chain got off track during a ride to the lagoon and the kickstand wouldn’t come up. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would return.
