The house was located a short distance from a number of fun activities we did during the week: hiking, horseback riding, rafting, etc. We also used the community beach and pickleball courts a few times. The house was comfortable and a good size for our family to enjoy cooking meals and playing games.

We found this place that was close to Kalahari, we were here for a wrestling tournament. My two kids loved the game room downstairs and spent most of their time there. The house was cozy in a quiet neighborhood.

Nice place for family! But they required us to take out our garbage that was some where in the community away from actual home! Also required us to wash every dish we used throughout our stay and put it back in the cabinets! Don’t supply tissue or trash bags! I’ve stayed in many short term rentals and never had to do these things. The trash to another site away from the house really confused me! We stayed 3 nights that’s a lot of trash to putting in our cars to take off site! It’s an lovely house overall!

The house was spotless and felt like home. Beds we very comfortable, sheets and towels were good quality and the kitchen was well stocked. I was extremely impressed with how clean the house was. Check in was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this house and will definitely rent again.

Clean, convenient house for a weekend ski trip.

We traveled as a Party of 10 looking for quality time together since all our kids sports finally had a break! Looking to end 2023 and start 2024 with laughter and family time. The kids loved the gameroom personal space downstairs and we all loved the open floor upstairs for meals and family gaming!
Kitchen was super stocked for cooking needs, the deer visited regularly, Joe was very thoughtful and informative, the neighborhood was clean and quiet. All we were hoping for! Did not disappoint!!

The home is located in an HOA neighborhood, which requires specific extra rules like sharing license plate numbers and removing your own trash. Trash can only be taken to the recycle center which is 5 minutes from the house during certain hours which adds stress to the guest during check out time.
The house is spacious and our family of 8 had room to spread out. However, the home is not as clean as we prefer our environment. The rental is not well maintained, the closets and kitchen spaces are a bit cluttered.
If you are particular about cleanliness and like to walk in to a warm inviting rental, this is not the rental for you.
With some TLC the rental could be great.

This community was beautiful and surrounded with nature. The house was awesome with a gameroom in the basement, I would have loved if the games had all the pieces but I’m sure with people coming through, they are not always respectful as we try to be. Wish we had stayed an extra day so we could have enjoyed the community more! May have to stay again another time!

Everything is great, beds are extremely comfortable, plenty of space, accessable off of Rt 476. It was fun staying in this house.

The house was very clean and spacious. Close to state parks and lakes. Neighborhood was nice and quiet and had everything we needed, play ground and fishing hole. The whole family enjoyed the game room!!

We visit the Poconos fairly frequently and this was the cleanest and nearest place we’ve visited. My boys loved all all the games, especially the basketball hoop.
Taking off a star because the grill was broken and having a grill is one of the key factors we consider when we rent.

Location of the property was great for the mountains in the area. Everything was as expected. Property was very clean and the host very easy to communicate with. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer stay will definitely stay here again.

We come here to go to the lantern festival. Find the place vey spacious and well equipped.
Rachel was a very good host the communication with her was good. and she listen to a couple complaints nothing that cant be fix it. Wonderful weekend. Thank Rachel.

First of all...
Cleanliness of the house was very poor!
The fitted bed sheet of the bed in the master room was dirty it had a big yellow spot , I had to take it out and put another one..
The refrigerator wasn't that clean , we had to wipe it inside it.
The grill was so dirty and old , they need a new one immediately also the bed in the master room was old and uncomfortable as well. The other beds were fine!
Bathroom on the second level won't drain fast even if you are careful and clean it.
Also it should say in the description that they only give 8 passes to use the facilities at the community and they dont sell daily passes at all! So we weren't able to enjoy the pool or the lake because we were more than 8.
The good part...the location and wild life was nice!

This was our 2nd time renting My Blue Heaven. The house is at a great location and within walking distance to the pool/lake/playground. The home was very clean and has all the amenities to simply show up and begin your vacation. We will definitely be renting this house again.

The house was a perfect place to stay with a large group of people. Our kids at the end didn’t want to leave!

Nice getaway close to Jim Thorpe
Property was close to Jim Thorpe and other area attractions. We enjoyed the community pickleball courts, pool, snack shack at the pool and lake, which were close to the house.
The house was large and well stocked in the kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, etc) and we had plenty of room to spread out. We especially enjoyed the life sized Connect 4 game.
You do have to haul your own trash away at the end of your stay, which was fine for us because we had a pickup truck.
We had a few housekeeping issues upon our arrival but the homeowner did get right back to me when I contacted her regarding those issues.

Great property at a great location with several amenities!
Our family rented this house for a quick weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t the best and the house offered so much to keep all the kids occupied since going to the lake wasn’t an option. We would definitely rent this house again!

Perfect Getaway
This home was the perfect getaway! The views were beautiful, we enjoyed having coffee on the deck while watching the deer graze In the yard. Very clean, had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be scheduling another getaway.

Great house, great trip
Booked a friends weekend away for a trip to Blue Ridge Winery. Stayed at this house and it was perfect for our group. House was clean, spacious and perfectly situated close to lots of amenities.
The rental process was easy and the owners were extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Rachel was very quick to respond to all of our questions and made our trip easy peasy!
The house has a basement gaming and bar area perfect for relaxing. Beach area close by though we went in off season so boating and other water/beach based options weren’t open yet.
Definitely recommend this house whether you are going on a family vacation or just a quick weekend away with friends. Will definitely be back!

Perfect for families
We loved our stay here. We spent MLK weekend here with two other couples and our kids and it was perfect. Clean, cozy and plenty for the kids to do, while the parents got to enjoy themselves too! Short drive to the snowtubing. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Amazing mini Vacation!
What a great stay! We stayed at this beautiful home in January and we weren’t disappointed. The house was clean, cozy and had everything you needed in it. The location is perfect and even if you don’t want to venture out, there is so much to do inside the house! Look forward to more bookings here.

The house is just like the pictures. The kids loved the game room and the main level was spacious and open. We would stay here again.
