If you are looking for proximity to Snowmass and overall convenience, it would be hard to beat this place. It's a really short walk to the base of the mountain and Snowmass Village, and the kids loved the overall pool and hot tub (even in February). We had two families of four able to stay here comfortably. Only thing to be mindful of is that there is not really a boot room, so it can get a bit cluttered with skis and boots, but not in a way that really hindered our stay.

Four couples stayed here for 6 nights. The location is okay but it’s a 10 (definitely not 4) minute walk to the gondola and that’s cutting through the garage across the street, through the loading dock and taking the elevator up 2 floors. The only bathroom on the main floor is accessible only through a bedroom. The kitchen has a lot of cooking items however they are scattered haphazardly in different cupboards. There isn’t a sheet pan for those easy dinners. If you’re planning to “cook in” this kitchen is definitely not user friendly. In one bedroom with twins there isn’t a dresser and the a good portion of the closet was storage. You’ll be living out of your suitcase. There’s no ski storage. Inside the townhouse there is no where to put your wet ski boots. We couldn’t find a binder with useful information about the workings of the townhouse, guest rules or contact numbers. The Destination Resorts shuttle service is terrible. Despite calling 3 times to insure an airport pickup no vehicle ever arrived. For the same price there are better lodging options available. We won’t be staying at the Tamarack complex again.

Great location.

While not the most updated condo, you can not beat this location in snowmass village. Steps to ski lift, ice rink, and shuttle. Easy access to snowmass mall for shopping and food. Grocery just a few blocks away (that you can also take the free shuttle). We had seven guest, kitchen was tight but manageable. Family room with fireplace and TV had lots of comfortable seating. Bathrooms were tiny, but we made it work. Checkin and out super easy. Biggest issue was the upstairs heated up significantly hotter than the downstairs and the furnace is loud (especially kicking on and off). Not the best sleep we have ever had, but again the location outweighed the negatives.

Overall a good stay. However, communication with property management was poor regarding upstairs shower door malfunctioning. After two requests for repair no one came to repair the door.
