The house itself was good. The cleanliness was not that good. I found a sheet of fried chicken in the oven, left by the last visitors, that was molded! The hot tub was in a whole in the back. it was not easy to get in. The game room was the best part of our stay, we all enjoyed it. The beds were comfy.

The house was great. My family and I had a wonderful time visiting the Smokies and enjoyed our stay. The house has plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained and everyone really lived the hot tub after long days out.

This home was perfect for our family stay. You can tell the owners were very thoughtful in all the extras they have available, fully stocked kitchen, pool/ jacuzzi, towels, supplies for your furry friends, even a couple different crate for them to stay comfortable in. Our kids also loved the game room. It was where we spent a lot of time when at the home. The area is a quiet escape, which is just what we needed. The landscaping outside is so well done making great space of the outdoors. I also can’t say enough good things about the responsiveness of the owner. You won’t be disappointed in staying here.

My family of 6 plus a pup just returned from a week long stay at The Hideaway. We loved this home! The cleanest and most well stocked VRBO we’ve ever had. The host is excellent and checked in with us after our first night to make sure everything was as expected. We cooked, played games, watched movies and had a wonderful phone free week together. Highly recommend this home.

What a perfect rental this was for our family! The rental makes use of every inch of space it has. We used all 3 bedrooms and spent lots of time in the Gameroom during the evening, and even in little 15-minute increments between going places - it kept people off their phones, a happy consequence! The kitchen is well-stocked and the eating area is more spacious than you might think from the photos - we had a nice pasta meal one night. The rental was clean and nicely decorated with a modern cabin feel. The location of the rental allows you to be close to Gatlinburg but out of the craziness of the strip - something we valued. It is about a 15-minute drive to Food City and the liquor store, about a 25-minute drive to the entrance to the Park, and quite close to the artists' loop. All the roads in Gatlinburg are winding and steep - including the road to this cabin. The driveway is also steep and does require you to back down to leave. It is manageable. There is room for two cars. We did have a larger dog with us, and there was not much level land, but there was enough for her to find a space. Andrea was a great host. She communicated promptly with me before arrival and was very attentive to our needs once we arrived, checking to see that all was well after Day 1. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

House was beautiful. Kids enjoyed the game room. They love all the big tvs in each room. The dryer went out while we were staying there and the host got it fixed that day. Was so easy to deal with. Great location. Would stay here again.

This property was perfect for our stay in Gaitlinburg. It was close to the downtown area of Gaitlinburg, and just a short drive to the attractions in Pigeon Forge. The home was clean, updated, and offered many things to do if you just wanted to have a relaxing day at the house.The hot tub was a hit with our kids, and the game room was an added bonus. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to prepare a meal. We were also happy to see a pack n play available when we arrived, as we left ours at home. Our host was responsive and kind throughout our stay! Yes, the driveway is steep, but not unmanageable. Our preference was to back in and drive out of the driveway, rather than drive in and back out. Our only regret was not staying longer, there is so much to do in this area.

Stayed here for a family spring break getaway! The property is a nicely updated and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room and used both each evening. The location is good about 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Andrea is a wonderful host and responded to any questions I had very timely! The fact that the property is pet friendly is a huge plus and we would stay here again!

My experience with this listing was outstanding! This was my family's first time in Gatlinburg and we were impressed with how clean and spacious everything was as well as how professional and communicative our host was. We look forward to booking again in the future.

The house was very clean. Everything that you could need is provided. The only thing that I can recommend bringing is a few spices, mayo, mustard, etc... Not far from all the attractions and easy access to stores. Will definitely book this property again.

The house was perfect! The house had everything we wanted/needed and was very comfortable and clean! My 3 adult children couldn’t wait to get back to the house everyday to enjoy the game room and hot tub! Andrea was a perfect host - there if needed, but not overly “present”. We were just sad we had to leave.

We hate the endless sea of people, madness, hustle and bustle of staying in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge but we have also had negative experiences booking cabins that were TOO remote, too high in elevation making it stressful for basic usage. This Hillside Hideaway was absolutely perfect because it was happy medium. Paved nice road right to the doorway but perched up probably 30ft you get great views and honestly in 4 days we didn’t see anyone yet if I needed to run to the store the property is just a couple minutes off of the main road. It’s about 15min away from a main grocery store (there are closer markets but very limited in items and hours of operation) so just be sure if arriving late like we did you stop beforehand and pickup stuff you want to be sure to have on hand for that 1st night/morning to ensure you don’t miss out on that morning cup of coffee like I did! 😜 Game room was a huge hit. Loved seeing my family playing together there for hours. Really a cozy great little place that you will enjoy!

Fantastic experience at this cabin. We had 4 adults and 4 kids aged 10 months - 11. Cabin was very clean, nicely decorated, great amenities and good amount of space for 3 families and 3 generations. The hot tub was fantastic and easy to use. Hostess is incredibly responsive and helpful. We wanted a cabin out of the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge but an easy drive to Dollywood and this rental did not disappoint. We also saw a black bear walk through the yard and keep heading down the mountain, which was very exciting! Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is an older ranch-style home that has been beautifully remodeled. Our teenage children especially liked the gameroom area. We also really enjoyed the new hot tub. As other reviewers mentioned, the driveway is steep and parking can be difficult if you have more than one vehicle. Good communication by owners on check in/check out process.

Everything you need is on property- including hot tub towels. Communication with the host was fast and efficient. We will bring our golf clubs next trip. There is a nice course very close to the property. The driveway was steep but that is true of most properties in the area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!!

This house tucked away in the mountains was amazing! The house was clean and ready for us to be there. The kids loved the game room. We had nightly air hockey tournaments. The communication with the host was phenomenal. We had issues unlocking the door with the code. She responded late at night to make sure we got in. She sent daily emails making sure we didn’t need anything. The neighbors are far away but close enough to alert you about visitors. The visitor was small cute fuzzy bear. The host provided is the video of our visitor per our request as we wanted to see a bear. I hope you pick this place during your stay as you will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed the location here. We were close to Gatlinburg without being right in all of the tourist attractions. The house was clean (I would say the cleaning company could clean under the sofas and beds a bit better though - just leftover crumbs that are easily missed) and well stocked with things you may need for a stay (dish soap, detergent, hand soaps and toilet paper). It was nice to not stock up on those things during our short stay (4 nights). We traveled with our 4 kids and felt comfortable. The kids loved the game room with the arcade game and air hockey. Andrea communicated well and checked in on us throughout our stay. The neighborhood is quiet as well. We would stay here again and would recommend to others!

The property I rented was excellent! Couldn’t ask for much more! Andrea’s cabin is very clean and met our expectations. My grandchildren had a wonderful time in the spacious game room as the adults enjoyed the fabulous clean jacuzzi! The kitchen was equipped with every utensil, pan etc….. that we needed. I definitely recommend this cabin! You will not be disappointed😃

We had an amazing time! The cabin is clean, well stocked, updated and beautiful.. the hot tub and game room were both huge hits for our kids (and the grown ups) ;) The host was incredibly helpful, and very quick to respond to questions/concerns. The location is perfect if you are wanting to be close to downtown Gatlinburg. Easy to find the cabin, and the roads weren’t bad at all leading up to it. The driveway is quite steep- so keep that in mind if you have elderly with you, or a vehicle that doesn’t do well with steep hills. Overall, the place was phenomenal, and my family and I will be booking again in the future! Thank you Andrea!

My family and i enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very cozy, clean, and family friendly. It had everything we needed. One thing we liked about the cabin was it had a game room. Even my 1 1/2 year old daughter enjoyed it. Also, the owner was very quick to reply. The only problem we encounted with the place was the parking driveway. I dont think it was not mentioned on the site that the park driveway was very steep. We had a 12 seater big van, 2 senior citizens with walking problems, and a 1.5 year old toddler. We had a lot of stuff with us too. So walking up and down was kind of a safety issue that we saw, and we couldnt park our van all the way up close to the house or it might back up all the way down the cliff on the other side of the road. So we just had to parallel park our car down the street. Thank god we could see it from our room to make sure our van was still ok. Thus, definitely, the park driveway was the only downsized we noticed. All in all, we had a great time in our cabin and in Tennessee. :-)

I would recommend this stay to anyone wanting the Smokey Mountain experience. The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. The host was very nice and was always there to answer any questions we had. Can't wait to spend time with my family there again.

My family and I spent a long weekend at this property. It had a really nice modern cabin feel. My husband and boys enjoyed the air hockey table and old school arcade games. Easy access to Dollywood and downtown Gatlinburg. Located behind a golf course, the road to access the property was narrow and steep but the scenery was beautiful. The driveway is also steep. There were other properties nearby so we didn’t feel isolated. I would definitely recommend this property. We really enjoyed our stay.
