A fantastically beautiful hotel! Family company! very clean and nice! The two of us had a four-bed deluxe room with 2 beds! The size is perfect for 2 people! beautiful bathroom and balcony! are excited! we'll be back when I visit my family in NY!!!!

Everything! From Carolina at that front desk, the art exhibit, the rooms! The room was ultra modern with every amenity you may need. Bathrobes, slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, razor. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in a while!

Hotel was great. We stayed in the one with the balcony/terrace. I think that space is meant for entertaining. It was huge with 5 long couches at least. Got to sit there with a drink and look up the sky. Was waiting to witness a UFO sighting but didn't. We really stayed a long time outside just taking in the beauty of NY lights at night. Watching the planes mostly. The suite was great with 2 robes, ready for us. Front Desk was exceptional. They have an art exhibit when we were there of an artist.

This little hotel is a gem. Room was very nicely decorated, it almost had a home vibe. I liked the little balcony where one can sit outside and enjoy the weather, the bathrobe and slippers , the gym. Hotel is located near the subway so one can easily get around New York. Also, plenty of food locations around this place.

where do I begin? The check in person informed us he was charging an additional $38.90, despite booking clearly stating no additional charges. He was very rude, we finally agreed so we could get in the room. Thank goodness for booking rep who I called right away and they stated this was not an acceptable charge, called the desk clerk yesterday and had the charge reversed. Later, the clerk never apologized for the mixup, spoke to my son rather than me, stated it used to be a policy but maybe they just changed it, and he didn't know. please...Then it got worse, had I taken a shower earlier in the day, I would have checked out immediately and demanded a refund. Took a shower only to see make up stains and other stains on the towels and hand towels, and we were given one very thin old washcloth, one for the 2 of us. The mattress cover had hairs and crumbs, flat sheet loosely placed over the top of the bed. Room slippers, which I thought was a nice touch, ended up being dirty inside, clearly not cleaned from the previous tenants. 2 pillows hard as a rock, could stand up in a corner on their own, then 2 normal pillows..why? The hotel is trying to offer touches of a higher-end boutique hotel, but basic cleanliness is overlooked. Finally they will call you to check out immediately and will charge $75 for "late checkout" which is just an additional hour. The new desk clerk this am came with another twist, the charge that was previously mentioned was now not the resort tax, but a boutique hotel charge?? couldn't leave fast enough! All in all this could be a really sweet place, but the front desk clerks have no clue, rooms need more careful attention to cleanliness, corners, carpet, behind the bed, mattress covers. Booking had this rated 9 which was the only reason I chose this property over others, maybe there was a change of ownership?

Friendly, courteous staff. Very clean establishment (you can smell the “clean” as you walk through the door). Modern amenities (as the moniker suggests), quality, well-packaged and conveniently placed toiletries. Staff actually pays attention to preferences in the comment section in the booking section online. Attention to detail is maintained throughout. Additionally, there is a gorgeous art gallery for viewing on the entry floor during regular business hours. This was a last minute booking but I’m really satisfied with the whole experience. 5/5 stars, would recommend!
