It was a nice place, good accommodations & very comfortable beds. I never sleep all night at home but the 4 nights we were there, I did😊 I brought a lot of things that you had there bc I wasn’t sure. It was nice to know there were amenities there to use.Host was easy to contact & help😊 There is only one negative & that is the trash can by the carport door was half full & smelled so bad when we arrived, we just moved it away from the carport.

We’ve been travelling from the uk for over 25 years to Florida , and first time in ormand by the sea . Loved the checkin process which wasn’t obtrusive with somebody meeting you
. Beautiful property with everything you could want , apart from a table in the back yard maybe if you want to sit and eat outside like we did one evening.
The proximity to the beach was what did it for us , out the door and on the beach in less than a minute , fabulous !
The neighbourhood is very safe and everybody says hi .
Crossing the busy road we thought would be a problem , but all the cars stop and let you , go , something that would never happen in the uk !
There’s a great publix up the road for all your supermarket shop requirements .
We wished we had stayed longer , and we will most certainly be back. The hosts were quick to respond when we had an issue with the electrics tripping out , when you plug more than two items in at once, which is a common occurrence ( we thought the storm knocked it out) , maybe a notice displayed telling us that would have helped and stopped us worrying !!
All in all it had everything we needed , loved the beach buggy to transport the chairs , cooler , towels umbrella etc to the beach , saved our arms .
We didn’t use the various eateries , as we had a car and drove further afield but the area had plenty .
In a nut shell , stay here it’s a ten out of ten property , and so is the area .
We will be back for longer next time , clean , well furnished.

We loved our stay. The place is very clean and charmingly decorated. There are lots of thoughtful touches, like extra pillows, blankets & towels and a very well stocked coffee bar and spice rack. It's quite close to the beach as well as lots of restaurants and a Publix grocery store. Communication with the owners & check-in/check-out were very easy. Highly recommend and would happily stay again.

Our stay at the cozy crab was perfect! My husband, myself and our 3 boys (16,13 &7) fit comfortably in the house! The walk to the beach was just a few minutes and the neighborhood was quiet! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Joe for opening your cozy crab beach house to our family!

Absolutely loved our stay at the cozy crab . From the comfortable beds and crab cozy decor we loved our stay. Only a 3 min walk to the beach where you can bring chairs and umbrellas supplied at the house. Bbq and fire pit in the back for fun after the beach. Definitely recommended

Had a fantastic stay. The location was great with it been a few minutes walk to the beach with places to eat/shop nearby.
The home was really clean and had everything we needed to unwind from day to day life and enjoy our stay.

enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Crab house. The kitchen was user-friendly, the beds are super comfy, and the shower is hot. The walk to the beach and river is a couple of minutes away. The neighborhood is very quiet. The hammock in the back is wonderful. Check in and out was easy. Thank you, Joe, for letting us stay!

We had an amazing stay at the Cozy Crab! Exactly as the pics! Short walk to beach for sunrise and river for sunsets! Loved the firepit as temps were low during our stay. Lots of nice little touches throughout the cottage and tons of little things in case you forgot something! Would definitely stay again. It was perfect for our annual sisters vacation!!

Our stay here was excellent. The house was so clean and cozy!! This house had the cutest little details in the decor that made it feel so homey. Let’s not forget to mention how comfortable the beds were! Great big driveway for parking that is extremely nice because we pulled a car down for the Daytona turkey run. The host is very Friendly and had great communication with us . Will definitely stay again!

It was great! Short walk to beach and depending on the night we could hear the waves crash onto the beach. Cottage is as described, communication was meticulous. Alfies was a great place to eat, short walk and fish fry was the best! We will definitely be coming back!

The location was walking distance from the beach just like the listing said, it was in a very quiet cute neighborhood, and there were tons of little tourist shops and seafood restaurants nearby! The home itself was very cute, well-decorated, and the host had the home stocked with some amenities such as a coffee bar, soaps, and toiletries and towels, which was very nice! The host was also very friendly and communicative through the app when originally booking and when we had any questions. 10/10, we will definitely book here again if we’re ever in the area again!

The perfect beach cottage! We loved our stay. It was very comfortable for our family of 5. The outdoor shower was great for a quick rinse off after the beach. The hosts thought of everything!

Property was as advertised. First impression was just how clean and organized it was.
Flagler Beach and Daytona Beach was just a short drive away.
The walk to the beach was just minutes, and the beach had showers and restrooms, so that was a plus.
We walked to Alfies for dinner, which was right across the street from the beach access and the food/service was very good. Publix and all types of shopping are also very close.
Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Check in/check out was a breeze.

We really enjoyed our stay and location was a big part. The home is perfectly situated on a nice quiet street with a short walk to a non crowded beach. There are no condos or hotels on the beach that is directly at the end of the street. Walk to the left and you might be completely alone! Easy drive to Flagler or Daytona. Nearby a state park and recreation area with trails and backwater fishing. About an hour to Kennedy Space Center which we loved. Don’t miss Surfin Scoops! Thanks for having us

My husband, son, and me, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very clean, cute bungalow. We immediately noticed the thought-out details, and hard work that had been put into this cute home. Everything from the cute coffee bar to all the kitchen cooking items that are stocked, to the essential supplies in the bathroom, to the comfortable sofa and bed(s). Trust me, if you forget pack an essential item, they probably have it for you at this property. We enjoyed every single detail! We sat on the porch at night, and you can literally hear the beach waves, and smell the ocean. Such a quiet community I might also add. Joe checked on us throughout the trip and was eager to help give advice on things to do, and great places to eat. I'm already ready to book again real soon. Thankyou Joe for your wonderful, comfortable, clean crab house. We'll be back soon.

Over all it was very nice. The beach area was not what it showed on the pictures, maybe it was because of the hurricane . we had a great time!

we stayed at Cozy Crab for 3 days along with 2 kids. it was an awesome experience. Kids lived it immediately after entering the house. it was very intelligently used space. I can say Joe has got a great taste and he used high quality stuff for his guests. Very thoughtfully maintained beautiful house.
I would definitely like to come over again and recommend it to my friends.

My family greatly enjoyed their stay at the Crab House and plan on visiting again on our next time in Ormond. The house was cute, clean and had everything we needed. The owner was quick to reply to all emails which was greatly appreciated.

We loved our stay here! Plenty of sleeping room for our family. Two 17 year olds and a 10 year old. Plus my husband and I! We loved having our own rooms, and the living room/kitchen area to be able to wake up before the kids and enjoy coffee. Everything was neat and clean! Our kids spent hours playing games that were provided! We loved using the beach cart to spend our mornings at the ocean just a short walk away! Food options, craft beer, family fun, and conveniences all very close by. We will definitely be back next time we are down! We didn’t want to leave!

Very Cozy Crab
I'll start by saying this is the first time I've booked a place with absolutely no reviews prior to my stay. The Cozy Crab was exactly as advertised plus much more. I'll list some very useful items that were available: plenty of bed linens, bath towels, beach towels and absolutely everything you need for the beach (rolling beach cart with cooler and chairs and umbrellas and sand toys and even extra chairs and toys and umbrellas in the shed), a grill with propane ready to go, all the dishes necessary plus seasonings and kcups, an air fryer, a garden hose with excellent pressure to wash all the sand off, washer and dryer out back, and hot water that I swear never ran out! Communication with the home owner was wonderful as well. The beach was about a 3-4 minute walk down the street with the handy beach cart loaded with all we needed for a great day in the sun. We would definitely book The Cozy Crab again if headed to Ormond!

Very well organized from beach chairs to first aid kit to dish ware very quiet and very cozy love the swing in the back they have a washer and dryer set up extra towels extra everything from vacuum to mop to broom all you will need is your clothes for your trip and your loved ones oh yea the coffee machine was very nice and extra flavoring right in front of you …… refrigerator was clean walls and bathroom were definitely 10 Stars beach literally I mean literally a tiny walk away best vacation ever wish we could stay forever we will definitely be back 10000000 Stars if I could
