Clean, comfortable and cheap

Location was substantially out of center - not such a nice place to be walking around after dark

I DID NOT USE THAT HOTE. THE PIN THAT THEY SEND DID NOT OPEN THE DOOR. They never answer the phone calls, They did not answer the ring Bell. I waste almost an hour in the place. and nobody came to the door. Pleas return my money if you charged my card. 'Ernesto

Please do not stay here if you value your money! We stayed here almost two months ago and then double charged our stay. Whilst they admitted to the mistake and promised a reimbursement, I still have not received it!! They keep making false promises of the transfer. I've been in contact with their customer service almost weekly and keep getting empty promises and lies about the transfer. The customer service is absolutely horrible, not worth the stay!!!! Also it is a far walk from the centre, you are way better of staying in the centre, it sure is a lot more fun!

the bed is comfortable and the place is super clean. Also, staff is readily available. The location, although not in the center of Antigua, is just a short walk away, plus, you will be in a part of town where you can relax. No noise from traffic, etc. Overall we recommend and would book again when in Antigua!!

the room could have some brighter lamps

The young lady who works here was exceptionally helpful, and the premises are impeccable, peaceful, and comfortable.

Everything during my stay has been more than perfect.

This place is beautiful and you can be very self sufficient while staying here. I think we had the best room, which was beautiful and very spacious, plus the bathroom was huge and had everything we needed. There is a kitchen with all the things you need if you want to cook for yourself.

The location is not the best. If you go in to antigua center and want to come back after dark, the best option is by taxi or uber which will cost around $5. Walking back at night doesn't feel safe enough. You are better off showering the night before or very early in the morning, because once every one else is showering in the hotel, it's very hard to get hot water

THE ROOMS OMG! If you’re looking for any kind of romantic getaway the rooms here are amazing! Huge bed and enormous bathroom. The kitchen is clean and super well equipped! So much value for money!

The location is a bit out of town - you can walk but the road is really busy. Luckily there’s a chicken bus going all the time for 2 QT per person. There isn’t any staff except the maid who is nice but doesn’t speak English. So if your looking for recommendations or activities, this is not the place.

first, there is NO breakfast! in the first 2 days they didn’t clean our room. just ignored us on WhatsApp. so we had to take the trash out ourselves. after that they say ‘they don’t have the key to the room so they ask us to leave the key to the cleaning lady. but in the next day they suddenly ‘had a key’ and they enter our room without heads up. I addition to that, we had no electricity and hot water for two days. the guy on WhatsApp didn’t really care about the fact we can’t take a shower and charge our phones. just saying that tomorrow it will be fine. the next day we went out and sent him a massage, asking if the electricity is back. he said ‘yes, señorita’. we got back to the hotel. there was no electricity. apparently he didn’t check before he answer. so he basically lied. we called him, saying there was no electricity, he offered to take us to another hotel so we had to move in the middle of the night. after that, he took no responsibility. not about the cleaning and not about the electricity. said it’s not his fault and refuses to give us one more day even the hotel was empty anyway.

well maintained, beautiful building, quiet location (a little tricky to find--drive in between the cement bollards to go down the street), free private garage parking (with entrance code), free potable water, nicely equipped common area

never got breakfast (or instructions), location far from city center, staff did not communicate that they would be unable to pick up our laundry, no AC (standing fans cooled off room using outside air), weak shower pressure (but hot water), loose head boards on beds

Nice house very colonial.

It was far from main town. Hot water was not working in the room. Beds were hard. There is no breakfast included in my reservation it said breakfast included but it was a lied. We stayed for four nights and we only got parking for one night.

Beautiful hotel and room. You can't tell by the unmarked building face, but once inside you will be impressed. I only booked one night and I'm regretting I didn't book all my time in Antigua here.

It's not an ideal location. It's a far walk to the center of Antigua. Traffic in the area is heavy and the sidewalks are a challenge. I see some new sidewalks being laid - perhaps this will improve in the future.

The location was 20mins walk out of town but lots of buses go by The light in the bathroom was a bit too low, a more powerful light bulb should be fitted

The place has a nice and quiet garden and different common areas to relax and and chill, there is free water available and the kitchen is really well equipped.

The Wi-Fi does not work very well, the gas for the oven/stove ran out and nobody was willing/able to change it, and the staff at the location was not very welcoming.

The facilities and the room looked good.

Terrible administration and service at the bare minimum requirements: access to the place, communication and basic toiletry. We called them before the trip since we would arrive late to the check in and we were told that it should be fine with the access code of the property that they were going to share with us on the day of the trip. In the end, they didn’t send the code and we stayed 2 hours at midnight outside the hotel trying to call the host; after futile calls and resourcing to Booking’s service line, we ended up paying 1 night on another hotel to sleep. The next morning we reached out to the host and didn’t receive any sense of empathy or apology for the mistake, just sent us the code and reduced a fraction of the night. When we arrived, there wasn’t soap nor shampoo on the bathroom which we ended buying ourself because we were fed up of this situation. The toilet paper was almost empty, we requested another roll which was never provided and ended up using tissues from restaurants for 2 days long. We requested a parking space which ended up using only once in our 4 night stay because other guests took it; when we talked with the host, they ensure us the space by locking it themselves but forgot to give us the keys to open it. Because of this we had to park our rented car outside the property in the evenings. Lastly, they never answer our calls during our stay and only reply on WhatsApp with poorly useful comments.

Nice rooms for a good price. Very charming patio.

The included breakfast is in a café downtown and not in the accommodation itself, so you need to walk there 25min or take a tuktuk/uber.

The food was very good.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond our expectations.

Lock on the room door dint work properly but still our host had electronic locks on all the property doors so it was a 50/50.

This Hotel was beautiful. We got a double room which was huge, with an en-suite and a walk in wardrobe for an amazing price. It was easily the most amazing room we’ve ever stayed in! It was super clean everywhere. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped. The breakfast was included every morning and it was delicious. The staff were all so lovely, helpful and friendly.
