We booked Lavender cottage as a last minute break, that's two humans and a dog. Lavender cottage met all of our expectations. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy and a few welcome essentials were provided for both humans and for the dog. Apart from a bit of rain we had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to book this cottage again if we decide to stay in the same area.

The cottage is lovely, refurbished to an excellent standard, and if you are looking for some quiet between the country and the coast, this is just the right thing. Please note that there is no washing machine on the property. We were booked for five nights and asked for a mid-term clean, which wasn't possible, and we also didn't get any fresh towels for five days which I think is a bit sickening. Everything was perfect except for the communication with east-coast hideaways, which made me feel that my request for a cleaning and fresh towels was entirely unreasonable. I would no longer book with this agency, although I would book the cottage again if it were with someone else. Very cute little place.
