Twice during the night at midnight and four the fire alarm went off. It was a false alarm but made for an unsleepable night. I am requesting a full refund since it's now 445am and alarms just turned off.

I wish there was a way Hotels.com could know if the bar/restaurant lounges are open in the hotel. It was very disappointing to book a Nonrefundable stay to find out that the hotels bar is closed. The hotel was great otherwise and the Staff are very Friendly

Worst hotel bed EVER! We were told the hotel was on limited staff and to leave towels outside door for replacement. They took ours and left us nothing. Had to call for replacements. Breakfast staff were very friendly along with front desk. Hotel is in need of total makeover.

We stayed here about 1.5yrs ago, and I dont know if there was a change in ownership or not, but it wasn’t quite as clean as the last time. In particular the rugs need a good cleaning

Great location to visit Buffalo Trace and walk to local bars. Loved the vast grassy lawn for our pups. Incredibly friendly staff. Convenient and free parking.

Parking is very inconvenient. Lobby was well kept, staff were exceptionally kind. Our room was old and pretty gross. Stains on carpets, furniture, and walls. Smelled like musty cigarettes and the bathroom floor was SUPER STICKY. The front desk gave me cleaner so I took care of that. The bed was comfortable (we like firm surfaces) but the mattress didn’t fit the bed properly. There were no available King rooms. Breakfast was pretty awful, I’m gluten free so my safe options were uncooked hash browns and eggs- there is a farmer’s market across the street :) this place has potential but needs an overhaul.

Our stay was good , however you can tell it’s been around awhile. Definitely needs some updating . Staff was friendly , prices reasonable and a new nice parking garage . The hotel needs some major upgrades , I bet it could be as beautiful as it once was, back in the day.

The property was good. I was glad they opened the new parking deck. I was not happy about unloading my dogs in front of the hotel on a busy street. They needed to allow people to unload under the parking garage. It was safer. In all it all was a good experience.

We have stayed here the past 3 years on our annual boat trip to Frankfort. They pick us up at the dock and deliver us back when we are ready to leave. The staff are friendly, professional and treat us great! The hotel is clean and they have a great breakfast. Highly recommend!

It’s quite deserted around the hotel. There isn’t any parking in the premises. The hotel bar is out of commission and has been for a while. A dated hotel but the staff was sweet.

It was unfortunate that the room smelled like smoke. The room felt real clammy. All of the rooms were really dark including hallways to the room. The beds were very uncomfortable and the breakfast was subpar.
We had to park our vehicles in another location and wasn't told until it was too late to cancel.
The only pleasant situation was the gentleman that checked us in.

A very nice place to stay as a base for surrounding bourbon and horse trips. Parking could be better but summer of 2024 there is a lot of construction happening in the area around the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff was exceptional! They were friendly, helpful, and available. The entrance was remodeled and grand which gave me high hopes. I’m sure this property was a beauty in her day.
However, major renovations are needed. The carpet in the room is filthy and threadbare, there walls need paint and there is an overall dinginess to the room. Thin towels, microwave cord that won’t reach the outlet, and loose wall plugs. Not major things but not enjoyable.
To end on a positive note… the breakfast buffet is very nice! The area is clean & looked to be freshly renovated. There were plenty of choices on the bar. The hot bar was hot and the cold bar was cold. The coffee was delicious.

shocked not to find a microwave/fridge in the room, standard feature now a days , Also very disturbing to find the phone in the room had no dial tone to call out or call the desk to report that the television wasn’t working. Used my cell phone to call the desk to be told that they would have to track down maintenance to take a look at it , while I had a child trying to get them to sleep. In the morning the front desk knew nothing about this as i felt some type of compensation should of been given
