This hotel was pretty good. The room was pretty small, but was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was very good! I have two complaints. I called early to get on the ground floor, and there was no notaion in the computer of my request. However we were able to get a ground floor room. Also, we were not told that we had to request to have our room made up the night before. This was very disapointing.

We like Best western so having one close to where we were working was a plus. Free breakfast is always nice.

no trailer parking allowed. only parking was an Half mile away, to far to walk with dogs and luggage. Staff told me it stated this on there website. But i booked thru expedia and did not see this listed. Was charged pet fees when i checked in, before i realized there wasn’t parking. and staff did not know how to credit this back. And couldn’t credit me back the room because i booked thru third party. So i drove 8 hrs home thru the night. Getting home at 5 am , And i am out almost 300. was not a good experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff, location is great. My only complaint was the pillows were to big and uncomfortable and the a/c unit was very loud so I did not get a good nights sleep.

I’ve stayed at a few BW and this was probably the worst. The room was run down. Lumpy bedding, cheap sheets. Bathroom door was soo close to the toilet it was hard to get in and out of bathroom. Shower head was super low, like you need to be between 4-5’ tall. The room had two queens, but was soo small. It’s overall very dated. There wasn’t a great place for dogs to poop and pee. Breakfast was yuck.

There was no hot water in the hotel. No one from staff notified us upon check-in (if they were aware). But at $250/night this made our stay much more difficult.

Not well-maintained. Curtains didn’t close properly. Pool not available. Weight room disappointing. Air conditioner had bad thermostat. Good breakfast, room clean, hallway not clean.

The carpet inside our room was not very clean at the time of our arrival.

When I reached the hotel front desk lady said we don’t have two bed room for you. I said it is fully paid and that’s not what I want to hear. Then after some time, she is, OK I have one for you. There is something wrong that I can’t explain, at least she needs more positive energy when welcoming guests. Room is excellent, breakfast is exceptional with choices compared to another best western I stayed about a month ago. Lady at the breakfast was so welcoming and friendly. When we were checking out, front desk lady took the keys and said “all set” after a little delay “have a nice day”. I was glad to hear that. Overall a very nice place and completely renovated rooms. 4 out of 5 Stars because of the initial check in issues.

Property only showed signage as Best Western. There was no reference to Bishop Lodge. Ticking noise from plumbing was a bit annoying and there was quite a abit of street noise. King bed room was large enough for a comfy chair but there was just a dining room chair and desk chair to sit on.

We arrived at 5:00 pm om May 1st, 2024. The girl at the reception behind her desktop showed no reaction like she did not see me and my wife in front of her desk. She was very cold in receiving us with no hi, welcoming words or anything. We checked in and got the key. In an hour, I went to the office and asked another girl there to change the credit card on file because I used the wrong credit card. She said we needed to do this at the check out. We checked out this morning and I asked the same girl (the second girl) to change the credit card to a new one. She wanted me to insert the new credit card which I did. She said it didn't go through and wanted me to do it again. She said she could not do the charge the second time as well. She said our first credit card would be charged. I asked her for a receipt for our stay. She said she could not print a receipt since we booked through Hotels.com. This was nonsense, but I did not to argue with her to ruin my day and hers. I just checked my credit cards. The first card (CapitalOne Visa ending in 2773) is charged $181.57 for the stay of one night and there is a charge of $50 which was supposed to be a security hold and not a charge. Our second credit card (CapitalOne Visa ending in 7619) is also charged $181.57. This is bad business practice. This is not Best Western; it is Worst Western

I could not close the curtains enough to keep the outside light out of the room. Ergo, a poor night's sleep.
