Liked that you can walk the town. Soft music was playing below us. Didn't like that they locked the doors at night to the hotel.

Really enjoyed are stay, staff very friendly and helpful, room clean and welcoming, delicious breakfast. Had a evening meal which was really enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.

The staff at the hotel were lovely. We were going to be late after playing golf and the staff told us to call them if we would be there after the kitchen closes. I called to say we would be 20 minutes late and their only repo se was that they would take care of us. Anyone staying here will love the place.

Place was great but had no ventilation and thus the room was very warm. We only had one small window. And it wasn’t the same pictures as the one I saw online. Everyone was nice and location was great but I wouldn’t go back unless I got a better room or in cooler weather

Lovely room, close to bar, restaurant and street access. Private carpark at rear, easily accessible. Good food with an excellent service. Very enjoyable stay, with great comfort and a relaxed atmosphere.

Hotel is very centrally located - rooms are large and very comfortable but at the same time very cosy - with very clean bathrooms - friendly staff - food was delicious with a nice varied menu - breakfast had a wide choice ranging from traditional Irish breakfast to very tasty pancakes with maple syrup - bar staff very efficient - this hotel is very well organised, helpful, customer friendly with an atmosphere of warmth and family orientated.Also great to see newspapers in the bar to read plus satellite television to watch the rugby.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Great place for being so historical and the city it’s in is a great little sea side town! Could see the massive waves from the window. Excellent places to eat in town and pubs had live Irish music. Quick access to cliffs. Only draw backs were trash in room at check in and dirty spoons.

I stayed at this property during a business trip in mid December. As I anticipated, there wasn’t much going around and the weather wasn’t welcoming. The stay in the hotel was fine. More power outlets in the room would’ve been useful, as the ones available were behind the desk and barely accessible.

Nice hotel close to the beach, nice staff. VERY loud room, below average bed, and a leaky tub. Not worth booking again.

My stay here was very comfortable and I am keeping it in mind to come back to. I loved that it was easy to find from the bus stop, and close to the beach. Breakfast was handy and had an extensive spread of good food. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was lovely, and I felt very safe there.

Enjoyed our stay. Food was great. Car parking lot is very small and someone parked behind us blocking our exit.

We stayed here for a night when touring Clare coast. Very nice hotel and breakfast was lovely following morning. Great for an overnight stay

Noisy hotel at night.

The service was great but the hotel itself is in serious need of updating. Broken tiles in the bathroom, broken vanity, stains on the sheets, and very worn looking. Looks like a spring break hotel that has been used and abused. I asked the maid service if I could get a washcloth and hand towel as I only had one bath towel in the room and she said they don't have any. Really?! You don't have any, or you don't have any right now? She replied, they don't have any ever. What hotel doesn't provide a hand towel and washcloth? The people/staff were very nice, food was good and the location was great but won't be back until they do a remodel. Wifi was not great.

The service and condition was outstanding. The dinig room meals were exceptional. I dined there with people who were staying elsewhere. They said that the food here was outstanding! Far superior than the food at their hotel(which was more expensive)

While it's in a nice location in a quaint little town, I've never had a worse sleeping experience in my life. I expected rest and relaxation but I actually got more sleep staying in temple street in Dublin. The bed is horrendous. It is uneven, and any movement makes you bounce uncontrollably. Worst of all is the noise. You can literally hear someone quietly cough 5 rooms away. Not to mention that all the walls shake if any door opens or closing. Our room view was the roof of a bar that played loud music until 1230. Not to mention the actual bar in the hotel where the noise also travels directly to your room. I did not sleep one minute the night I stayed urge anyone to stay away.

Wifi didn't work the first night. It was fixed on the second day. Our room was above the bar/restaurant, and the loud music made it difficult to sleep. Shower was not good. No water pressure, and difficult to adjust temperature (either really hot or really cold). Otherwise it was a good stay! Breakfast was excellent and included in the rate.
