Very good always use here for work trips

This was an absolute delight. Exceptional in everything from the hosts, room, bathroom, selections of teas, extras. There was nothing at all missing. Lovely temperature. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of room. Free soft drinks from the fridge downstairs. Breakfast was excellent with homemade jams, fresh strawberries, raspberries organic yoghurt. Selection menus for cooked breakfast, fresh juices and plenty of tea and coffee all served in a lovely room. Can’t rate this place highly enough. Will definitely go again if in the area.

The Liongate is a small well appointed B&B which is very comfortable, and provides an excellent breakfast. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and I have no complaints at all. I would happily stay here again.

There was a choice of local eateries, we used the Ilchester Arms which was less than 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was superb, with plenty of choice. You won’t leave hungry. Highly recommended in every way.

Our stay was lovely. The hosts accommodated our later arrival and still greeted us with a friendly welcome and showed us our room and the amenities for our comfort. The beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed.

Could not fault our stay. Great welcome with tea and brownie in the garden. Probably the best cooked breakfast we have had. Would certainly stay again.

The bedroom & shower room were modern and to a high standard, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. It is also well located for dinner options.

Wow! What a gem! The best B&B we've ever stayed in. Everything was beyond our expectations. Say no more.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a longer trip. The room was perfect and had all the facilities you could need. Breakfast was top quality and our hosts were more than helpful and friendly. Tea and cake on arrival in the garden was just what we needed and so peaceful. Highly recommended as a place to stay and base for exploring.

Outstanding - very friendly, accommodation and food excellent.

Too noisy because of the main road and unfortunately was a very hot day.

Hosts were exceptional. Garden was a plus. Breakfast was the best of all hotels.

Liz and Graeme are excellent hosts. A very comfortable and enjoyable two night stay.

We stayed in the family room, and the accommodation was perfect, with a room for our son, and a super-king bed in the main bedroom, a family bathroom and all fully contained so he couldn't escape! The beds were comfy, the showers powerful, and the breakfast set us up for the day so we didn't need lunch. Excellent hosts too so would definitely recommend. We hope to return soon.
