Only the distance is a bit distant from the underground. Everything is fantastic. I was upgraded to the room with a big tub. The rooms were clean and the afternoon snacking time was perfect to me.

This is the first time I’ve stayed at an EPISODE hotel. The entire design is centered around classic Chinese hit music, which really caters to my taste. I enjoyed the retro vibe not only in the check-in area but also in the room. There’s a retro turntable CD player with a classic Chinese CD that you can play in your room, which adds the perfect finishing touch. I really liked the location as well—the hotel is conveniently situated just 3 minutes from the MRT station, making it easy to get to popular attractions in Taipei. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a pleasing experience, and I’ll definitely consider staying at this hotel again next time.

This is my 2nd visit to the hotel. This time the hotel is total complete with the restaurant and coffee shop opened. Saw a negative review about cleanliness which scared me abit but my experience was fine. Bed is comfy, also love the thick towels and expensive shampoo. Feels like in a luxury hotel. Free happy hour and snacks is great. Staff is friendly and appropriate. Overall a good value hotel given such great location.

Vibe at the hotel is wonderful. Enjoyed the 2000s theme so much, snack bar and free HH were great plus.
Yet, believe somewhere in the room was not 100% clean. I got serious nose allergy from the first night till the end. My friend got skin allergy and had to visit the doctor during our trip.
Bed was super comfy though, was able to sleep through the night despite of the serious nose allergy.
Location is great for a girl trip. Loads of decent bars and restaurants nearby.

Very convenient and well kitted hotel, but perhaps compared to the other hotels we stayed at this time, they felt less personal or friendly. No one greeted us when we walked in and out of the hotel, even though the front desk was looking at us, and we were the only ones in the lobby. Resulted in a couple awkward seconds.

First time to stay in a hotel without carpet in hotel room. Less dust for allergy. so appreciated. Hotel is situated in a very good location that can reach everywhere easily.

Everything is up to standard, except the room view is not good, its too close to the next building, i can see people taking night class. I couldn’t roll up the window curtain at all.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very nice, and the staff were all extremely helpful anytime I had a question. We plan on taking more trips to Taipei, and we will definitely book a room here when we go. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book again if I returned to Taipei. I loved the location in Daan, as it was sort of right in the middle of a many different pockets of the city that I found myself in. The room was spotless and more spacious (Marvelous King) than I was expecting. Staff was very friendly but not super knowledgeable when I asked a few questions about amenities in the area.

Great property, close to 2 MTR lines, wooden floors, simplistic/minimalist design. Right in the middle of all the activity. Will definitely return to this hotel next time I visit Taipei.
