Rooms are pretty cramped but other than that I would stay again.

I asked through Hilton Honours app (chat inquiry) if I can book the car parking at the hotel, and was instructed to ask at the reception. Hence we asked at the reception while parking at the entrance as guided by the chat, but the lady at the reception treated us as if we did something wrong and was very rude. Before saying hi or even hearing what we were trying to do (to understand if the parking at the hotel is available), she stopped us talking and immediately asked us to present ID. Her facial expression and voice tone were quite aggressive. We were surprised by the hostility and it was a very rude way to treat customer. She even lied the parking at the hotel is 60 pounds / night - we were surprised and repeatedly confirmed if it’s not 16, but she insisted it is 60. Therefore we parked at another parking nearby. When we returned to the reception, another person was there and he told us it is 16 per night. Overall the lady at the reception gave us very bad and disappointing experience. We have stayed at Hilton group hotels many times but it was the worst experience. I usually don’t complain about customer service but I had to write negative review because it was too bad. I don’t know her name but she was wearing scarf covering almost half of her face and should have been in the shift around 5pm on July 30th (Tue).

Nice hotel within a half hour walking distance to the Royal Mile and all major landmarks in old town Edinburgh. The breakfast buffet was vey varied, which was a plus. Would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay! Lovely and helpful staff. I am very thankful! I planned a surprise for my partner as it was his birthday, soni asked if they can do it for me, they said they don’t do that but they will note of it but the staff did an extra mile and also gave us free drinks! It was simple but very special, he was surprised! ❤️ thank you so much. We will surely recommend and come back again.

The Hotel was amazing. The only let down waa the restaurant menu was none existing. It would have been good to be told that you could bring your own food in with you. For parking use the car park across the street not the Hotel car park it was only £10 over night compared to the £60 the hotel wanted to charge.

No mini-fridge in the room. Nothing in the listing indicating there wasn't a mini fridge, pretty much standard in good hotels. Pull out couch was horrific.

Excellent staff Clean room

The staff were lovely and helpful. Our daughter was ill and they gave us help, and advice. We ended up taking her to Children’s A&E, and they gave us a late check in, no questions asked. So helpful! Thank you

Apart from being a room meant for disabled, it was satisfactory. I should have said something at first sight of the room, but I elected not to do so. I won’t make that mistake again.

The stay was nice and comfortable. The property is conveniently placed in city, well connected to the city centre by public transport. The Front Desk representative Ms. Simona was very welcoming and she enthusiastically explained us about likely points of interests which were worth trying to in city and around. Consumables could have been replenished daily.

Breakfast was ok. The rooms were clean. The staff were relatively friendly

Good hotel for value. A bit off from old town and took some time to understand how to get there from the train station. But when once you found it it was easy to commute in foot.

Air con never worked no bc windows in the room wa water for shower and breakfast was cold and dry rubber not great at all and would not return

I had stayed here before in March2023 and found the hotel good value and pleasant This year it was different. Much more expensive and exceptionally bad service from checkin to check out. Indifferent and at times rude staff unwilling to do anything for the guest. Breakfast poor. Few choices- tinned fruit (in 2024?). I will never stay here again and will recommend colleagues not to so

Rooms are a bit small but free breakfast and convenience is a plus! Rooms were clean, amenities were clean. Have a coffee area to purchase starbucks and snacks.

Very helpful, great full breakfast options included, gym. Disappointed to find hair on bathroom floor.
