It was pretty good, better than expected. Amazing location as well. Altho it was noisy in the night, I’m ok with noise usually so it might be the only minus for some people

First time in Lisbon and it was a wonderful stay. Property is accessible to transport, nightlife in the evening only downside that I can’t sleep well in the night because of the noise from the restaurant close by n

Location and facilities

Very nice management. The room was average, but had a safe and wardrobe for clothes. Had a shared kitchen and refrigerator. Bathroom was clean.

Receptionist not there. Not impressed too. Not like room pictures from you. I have emailed you before 72 hours but not replied

Definitely a no frills property for people looking for a place to crash after a long night out in Bairro Alto. No response when asked to drop bags early (via text). No one arrives at the property until checkin time at 4pm. The AC didn't work in the room and when asked about looking into fixing it they made an attempt, but when that didnt work the response was like "well, what can you do? Works great in the winter." Wouldn't stay here again.

I travelled continually for 7 years and stayed in many hostels, and this one was by far the worst for comfort. It’s impossible to sleep at night due to the noise. I had expected a certain level of noise and being able to hear music due to the hostels location, however the music is so loud the bass vibrates the room until 4am, then the sound of bottles being emptied into large bins continues until 7am. Unless you’re on a trip solely to drink and stay out late (perhaps a stag do) this hostel wouldn’t work. Further to this the air con didn’t work in the rooms at all, it turned itself off after around 5 seconds of being on despite all settings being changed, upon complaining about this we were advised this was in all rooms and they were very good at heating- not useful. My bedsheets were also stained. There also isn’t a communal area other than the kitchen to meet people, which is often offered in other hostels. Positives are that the hostel other than the bedsheets was very clean- including the bathroom, and it’s in a very central location. Overall I think the description of the hostel needs updating to reflect the levels of noise, and that there’s no air con so people can be better placed to choose whether they’d want to stay there.

Hox!! We were charged for late check-in, which is fine If it was informed more than a couple of hours before our check-in. The hostel is in great location on a clubbing street. The hostel is a bit noisy but we slept still well. There was a French balcony in our room, which was lovely. The check-in person was nice. Tourist tax was paid by cash, which does not necessarily bring reliabiliness.
