Excellent location. Secure building. Great staff

The stay was good. The one bedroom apartment was smaller than I expected, the bathroom was tight and so was the bedroom getting around the bed. It was very well supplied and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom sink seemed to leak around the faucet because it was always wet. The rooftop hot tubs were really nice, but we wished there was a way to socialize on the roof with picnic tables, or table/chairs. Missed being able to feel the outside air unless we went all the way down 3 flights of stairs to the street. Having no central lounge or meeting room or rooftop tables was missed since we were there with other couples always trying to meet up. Everything was very clean and well taken care of.

No closets, No drawers, extremely minimal on everything

This is a tiny 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. There were no storage of clothes at all: no dresser or a closet, just a few hooks with hangers. So most of the clothes has to stay in a suitcase. The property is somewhat dated, the doors squeak loudly. For some reason they restrict how wide windows can be opened. I would not stay there again.

This is a great location, and a very nice property

The unit itself was clean but surrounding halls and entrance had stains. They were hot and smelled of smoke and just overall the building is dirty feeling.

Room is tidy and spacious. But the shower curtain smells off. It should have been replaced or washed atleast. Hot tub is not available when we went upstairs at around 10 in the morning.

Great location and a comfortable clean apartment

Loved staying here with my family. The ladies at the front desk were so nice and helpful. We never used the next door garage here. We used the free 9 hour parking at the train station, moving the car to free street parking (8:00pm-8:00am) every day and it’s so close that it honestly was no big deal. Every other thing we needed within the area is accessible by ROAM. The IGA store is right next door too. It was very quiet and nice. The hot tubs were not working so that was a disappoint to my kids, but all in all it was wonderful.

It was rather hard to get specific information about parking, even when calling the front desk. We had to change the room because of an unpleasant smell inside the apartment.

The location was great, and having kitchen facilities was convenient.

Very comfortable, full kitchen, 2 bedroom apartment. Clean, with a great kitchen the best on our travels to date. Great Location to everything in Banff. Terrific supportive Reception, but to our disappointment No Parking! Over $AU4000 for a four day stay, and No Parking! This caused problems on arrival and did make for a bad experience, as the street parking machine operates by a QR Code that nobody could get to work. We had to park at the Free Parking at the train station a 5 minute walk away. This is Not acceptable for the rates one is paying to stay in Banff. Would I recommend Basecamp Suites - absolutely if they sort out the parking issue!

Great location. Comfy beds. Stocked kitchen. Only complaint is the bedrooms are very very tiny with barely any space for suitcases.

Great place

Parking was tough, hope they make a deal with Cascade Mall Parkade. All else was amazing.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Rooms were clean. We had a room on 4th floor which is the floor you use to access the hot tubs so it was a little noisy. Parking was a little inconvenient as you think it’s $30/day but you can’t come and go or they charge you by the hour.

Basecamp was great for our 2 bedroom stay. The place was very well looked after and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. A couple of things to note: 1 parking is not included and runs $30/day. This is kinda annoying because we left the car in for 28hrs and got charged $60. The hotel doesnt run the parking so there isn't really anyone to talk to about it. Our suggestion here would be for Basecamp to have a deal with the parking garage to facilitate a better experience. 2. The bedrooms run a little small and more importantly lacked av wariness a wardrobe or space for suitcases. Having 2 large and 2 small suitcases in one room made getting to things difficult and involved a lot of jumping over the bed. Having said that, the location is fantastic with everything in easy reach. The staff were friendly and our 11pm arrival was handled well. We found having a code instead of keys to enter was very helpful. Would definitely stay again, knowing to expect the parking situation and perhaps packing lighter!

I like the idea of having two rooms and an apt feel. It was very cozy and comfy. The only thing I wanted to report was that when we opened the sofa bed we discovered a whole bunch of hair on the bed and closed it right away.. I told them on the way out.. but was pretty grossed out with the hair.

Great location. Close to main shopping and dining, but on a quiet street. Suite was clean and cozy. Hot tubs on roof were great. Will certainly look at staying here again.
