Cheap and close to the beach. Clean and safe.

No Wi-Fi in the room. And no warm water in the shower! Had to take cold showers every day. I tried to let the water run for a long time but it didn’t work. Woke up too early a couple of day because of construction work right outside of my room. Had to stuff a blanket under the door because light and noise from the hall came into my room. The staff was watching MTV way to loud in the dining room during breakfast. When asked to pay city tax / tourist tax I had to pay cash, and got no receipt. That seems a little suspicious.

It is very well located and super clean, with a wonderful breakfast and the staff very friendly , besides the flexibility to do a early check in and out

The hotel is only 400 meters from the ocean, although the named beaches are a bit further. If you walk directly downhill to the ocean, you are in the middle of a beautiful, magnificent, dramatic coastline. For this reason, the location could hardly be better. The staff were friendly and the self check in made it easy to arrive late after our flight was delayed.

The description online was a bit misleading. We selected a ground floor room because it was described as having a terrace. However, neither of the ground floor rooms had a terrace (unless the shared space behind the kitchen was supposed to be the terrace). In any event, there is not a private terrace. Previous reviews highly praised the breakfast for having many food options. We enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice but would note that the breakfast on the three mornings that we were there consisted of sliced meat and sliced cheese with rolls - perfectly adequate for most travellers but one of us has food allergies that meant there was little to eat beyond bread and jam. Again, this can be fine - just we expected something more based on previous reviews.

The house and rooms are beautifull! The location, close to the sea and many nice little restaurants. We have been to Porto before and were looking for a relaxing place for one night instead of being in the center. Including a small breakfast of croissant, nice Juice and good coffee.

We had a room on the second floor. It took a very long time before the water turns hot in the bathroom. It is noisy, but depends on how noisy the neighnours in the room next to you are, if they are watching television for me it was annoying.

Clean and tastefully decorated room. Very nice and friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Close to the sea and the beach and conveniently located in relation to the city (there was a bus going straight to the city center every 20 min and the stop was 5 min from the hotel)

The room was a bit cold - it was not a problem during the day when the temperatures outside were high, but it would get quite chilly during the night and I can imagine it’s not very pleasant during colder months.

The attention given by the host, I had to leave early in the morning. They were kind enough to leave breakfast in my room the night before. In the morning, Magda provided me with coffee before breakfast opened. Very attentive.

The location of the bathroom in relation to the bed, but it is perfectably doable.

The host is very friendly. Very welcoming and treated us like family. I felt at home.

Standard guest house stay, room was cold when I arrived and no instructions for heating. The best thing about this place was the staff at breakfast - super nice and great value for money in terms of breakfast

We loved the location of this area as close to beach, shopping, restaurants, and scenery. Our bedroom was the best part about our stay here! It was bright with big windows and a nice bed, with space. This hotel has a lot of potential with improvements to staff, hospitality and guest relations-- plus a much better breakfast would help a lot too.

It would have been great if there was not a strong mildew smell in the entry to the hotel. And if the staff were much more hospitable, nice and welcoming-- it would have made our stay so much better! We were asked to pay city tax at the end of our stay and there were major communication issues just on that point.
