Very friendly host. Despite we were only there for one night everything was in check to make our stay comfortable. There were roadworks on the street but the host arranged for an alternative parking spot nearby. Very close to the city center with restaurants and more important the historical sites. (Make sure to stay at least 48 hours in Merida to see it all and buy the combi-ticket. Definitely worth it! Also visit the Zona Archaeologica and the Casa del Mitreo, very impressive how much remains are left. ) The apartment is huge! At least for two persons. You can easily stay here with 4 or more. Extremely low priced in comparison with the hotels in the region. We asked to use the washing machine and the host provided a soap-tablet. Great service! The breakfast was minimal but you could ofcourse shop some extra for yourself.

The host, José, was extraordinarily helpful! Provided loads of information on what to see and where to eat, including map links so we didn't get lost. The house was very clean, and well equipped.

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was downtown Merida within walking distance to the coliseum and many shops and restaurants.

There was one bedroom upstairs that had some black growth on the wall in the corner. Not sure what it was. The rest of the rooms were great.

Central location near City Hall meant all landmarks within easy reach, free doorstep parking & breakfast a treat. Reinforced double/triple glazing allowed for a noise-free stay.. Heating-A/C in every room of this intelligent home duplex. Instructions on light switches for virtual hostess Alexa. Tour of accommodation & plenty of tourism tips. Covid-19 cleanliness still in force. Congratulations José - you thought of everything for a memorable & comfortable séjour! You are a delightful host & we highly recommend your 5* lodging.

Jose is the perfect host and lives next door. He spent a very long time telling us about all the places we should visit, pointing them out on the map and suggesting a route. His restaurant recommendations were perfect too! This is a four-bedroom, very spacious and well-equipped property in the heart of the city, very close to the alcazaba. Everything you need for breakfast is provided for you. Parking in a nearby car park is included.

Alexa did not understand my Spanish (which isn't surprising)! Despite Jose explaining in great detail how to operate the complex multi-jet shower, I'd forgotten what he had said by the next morning and couldn't work out how to get hot water through the rain shower head. Other than that, we liked everything very much indeed.

Considering the location and parking, I stayed at the Air B&B for the first time in a long time. The owner here was a very nice guy who immediately told me where to go and introduced me to a gelato shop and tapas bar with a good reputation in the area. The gelato shop as well as the tapas bar were also very delicious. All the rooms were very clean and the interior was lovely. In addition, the cushions on the bed were comfortable.

We liked everything. Jose, the host/owner, met us and spent plenty of time orienting us to the apartment and the town. Also, we really loved the reserved parking spot directly across the street from the front door.

We cannot think of a single thing we did not like. Everything was wonderful.

Great location right down town. Two blocks from the Roman Bridge. Every detail of the apartment was perfect.

In short, everything. I have stayed in circa 40 properties via booking.com. This was the best ever. Jose was the perfect host and his attention to detail is simply amazing. If you are considering a trip to Merida, and perhaps even if you aren't you should seriously consider a visit to Merida, and more importantly staying in this property. Thank you Jose for making our impromptu trip so memorable!

Brilliant location in walking distance to all the main sites. it was very clean and well maintained and the host was very pleasant and helpful

The use of Alexa for the lights etc. Somewhat hit and miss.

We stayed here with our 4 daughters. The house is on the best location in Merida opposite the Alcazar and Roman Bridge. there is a spacious parking only 5 minutes walk from the house. The interior is brand new, super clean and very spacious including some high-tec features. José the host and owner of the house lives next door and is truly a superhost. Upon arrival he explained the main monuments to us which are all within walking distance and gave us tips for local food . All thinkable safety measures against COVID are provided by the host. Each room has individual airco a blessing in the summer. Plaza de España is around the corner. Here you can enjoy a good meal and drinks. I certainly recommend this locations, we loved it!!!
