Out of the centre of Wellington in Newlands, a car is pretty much essential for this property unless you're a lover of bus transport. That said, there's a obvious easy parking space outside. The sensor lighting which comes on as you make your way down to the little flat is an absolute godsend on a wet Wellington night. For a single person the small flat is perfectly adequate and cozy for a short stay. The shower was hot and the unit was obviously individual rather than a generic motel type place to stay. Sal was very friendly in communications via text and made me feel very welcome. The difference in price to central Wellington was wonderful!

The extractor fan in the bathroom was efficient, but came on with the light and was sited immediately behind the toilet - it was pretty loud (maybe I just send too long on the loo). The bedding and bed were more than adequate, but the bed frame is probably getting near to the time of replacement - it did creak a bit as I moved around.

Small house with all day sun :) Very friendly staff, small kitchen where you can use microwave, kettle, toaster for your meals, fridge, washing machine, Wifi worked flawlessly, facilities are good and clean. Parking space for a car. Bus stop to get you to the city center is not far. Local shopping center is a nice 10 min walk. Ideal place to stay for up to one or two weeks if one comes to Wellington for business or tourism.

Electric heater could be an oil one.
