Great location central for everything with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby and a very short walk to the harbour/cruise terminal/tourist attractions. Spacious rooms and very comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a lovely hotel! The rooms are spacious, beds are soft and cosy, the tv has a built in chrome cast. Great hotel! Very comfortable.

This is a nice hotel with great service. It is well located downtown and is near Canada Place for the cruise ships and the harbor for the float plane tours. The restaurants are good and the servers we had were all experienced professionals.
Our room was nice with a balcony and view of downtown.
The main negative is arrival and parking, which is a bit of a nightmare. We used the valet, a whopping $71 CAD per night. They at least did a good job.
Also, this is a very expensive place. Everything was expensive, from the rooms to the food. I guess it's just downtown Vancouver.

The Hyatt regency was great! Perfect location for walking around and enjoying the sights. Service was great always helpful and friendly! Can't say enough about the comfort of the bed slept very well! Thank you Elaine for the room provided we had a fantastic view! Definitely would stay there again.

If you plan to explore Vancouver area, there is convenient hotel pick up/drop off from this property. Free shuttles to Capilano bridge also stops here.

One night in Vancouver before flying home. We’ve stayed here before in ski season, and the location is outstanding for taking the bus to Whistler. This time we booked a high floor, but would have preferred to be able to see the bay to looking into the windows at the workers in other buildings. The weather was so good, that we didn’t mind walking so the location was not as important. Therefore, I think we could’ve bought a less expensive room as this was pretty pricey all in, particularly since we had a car to park.
This is a dumb thing, but the elevators have some crazy system that you can’t just push a button and go up. No one bothered to explain it to us when we checked in. Also ridiculous to have only one ice machine in the whole building which also was super hard to find.

Everything that you would expect at a Hyatt hotel. In restaurant dining options, and underground extensive food court, clean and efficient lobby and attentive staff. A nice business work room with free use computers, shredders, and printers. The gym was well appointed (no Smith machine though) and the outdoor pool was heated. Gym/pool can get crowded though. The only negative was that the TV required a "Google" connect app approach. Setup was not straightforward and once successful, you needed to scan a code everytime you wanted to access something like Netflix. I guess this is good for keeping you from leaving your account active when you leave, but it was a pain in the butt. Otherwise, it's a Hyatt, and with that comes the kind of experience you would expect.

Every staff member has been a pleasure to work with. We were given a corner room with a beautiful view and a 2 pm late checkout. There is a plethora of Super restaurants and shopping nearby and the sauna and pool were perfect after a long day. Will definitely recommend to others and return on next trip to Vancouver!

The Hyatt is my preferred stay as it is so conveniently located. If coming in from YVR, take the skytrain to Vancouver Central and its a short walk to your hotel. I've done this with a couple of pieces of luggage and its easy. There are lots of food and shopping options in the area and very close to the waterfront as well. They have a very efficient elevator system, a gym, pool and the rooms are comfortable.
