Room was dirty the showed me several rooms all of wich were equally as dirty we went to Walmart and spent $150 on cleaning supplies and cleaned the whole house top to bottom had to buy our own sheets and towels as well

The room was halfway decent, but the bathroom was frighteningly dirty and the fitted sheet on the bed had stains all over it. There were people right outside playing basketball at 11 PM and when I looked outside, I thought I saw a drug deal go down. I just packed up my stuff and left and drove three hours home in the middle of the night. That was preferable to staying on that property.

I paid for the duplex with two rooms for 3 of us. We checked in after 8 pm not knowing the condition of the room was so bad. Both microwave ovens were not working. There was still dried and old coffee grind inside the little coffee maker. There was a dead roach inside the refrigerator. We quickly found live roaches inside the room. The king size bed has mold on the mattress. The hot water faucet knob fell off in both bathrooms. The chairs have deep dirt on the arms and back that I cannot clean. The white towels were in very sad conditions. Some towels have stains on them. Since I could not find another hotel so late at night, I had to ask for a mob and cleaning spray to clean the floor and the room myself. There were more roaches coming out at night making sleep difficult.
There were pets around the hotel. I notice dog excrements and yellow spots along the pavement.
After I call and complained three times, The staff finally come. The staff offered to put us in another room but it was much smaller. The staff told me I can get a refund within 30 minutes of check in but we have to get it from Hotels.com. The virtues agent in Hotels.com was not responsive and it kept asking to search for the booking. I can’t go to another hotel without paying for a much higher price so I clean the room myself. Plus, it was way over 30 minutes when I waited for the staff to come.
The next day, the hotel did replace the microwave oven and clean the room, but we only have two nights there.

The hotel and room was just filthy. Nothing like the pictures online. The towels were dirty and balled up not even folded. The sheets were dirty with brown stains. The shower curtains were filthy along with paint stains on the window curtains. The glass coset door was falling off the hinges witch was a hazard to my small children. On top of that the property just felt unsafe. People just smoking with their doors open. I will never stay here again. It was more like apartments because most of the guests clearly lived there.

This property is not represented well online at all. The main entrance, front desk, condition of entry ways and the rooms are terrible. Smelled of smoke and marijuana, dirty breezeways and rooms. I did not stay and should not have even stepped past the front desk. I would never again entertain this brand of hotel based on this 30 minute experience.

The check-in was smooth, and the staff were welcoming. My room was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. I appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and the convenient location—close to restaurants and public transport. Overall, it was good value for the price

This property does not live up to its potential. It is adorable and unique which is what attracted us to it. Unfortunately, the property is not well maintained. Initially when we checked in there was a very irate man asking for his money back because the pool was unusable and there was a wasp in his room. The pool was nasty green and didn’t appear to be kept up. Although the pool was not a priority, it would have been nice to use. I asked about it and my question was ignored at first. Then I was given a strange story about trying a different kind of water that turns green if anything gets in it. I was assured that the pool had been cleaned and treated and would be usable the following day. The pool was gross and unusable the entirety of our stay. Initially, our room was dirty. When we went to complain we were told we were put in the wrong room. We had checked in early and when I notified the front desk that our room was dirty, the guard made a comment about us checking in early. We had words because 1. I had asked and they checked us in early, they didn’t have to, and 2. Not his job! We were put in a different room that had been properly cleaned. Last but not least there are signs of wear and disrepair throughout the property that make it look like a slum lord runs it. It was not so bad that we wanted to find another place to stay at the last minute but we would not stay again. Picture of the pool and the couch in the room we stayed in. It was too nasty to sit on.

Do Not Stay Here! It is filthy, disgusting and unsafe. Everything even down to the curtains are stained and dirty. The furniture is dirty and broken down. The dining table had 2 broken table legs and it literally fell to the floor. Smelled like cigarettes. Worse "hotel" I've ever experienced.

This suite had no hot water. Towels felt grimy. In top of that there was roaches. I’m still not certain if there was bedbugs or not. I just k ow when o woke up I was bit up pretty bad every nite. I’ve never experienced anything like this before in my life. I will never ever rent a room in the whole area.

The room we started in was substandard, it was dirty, trash on the floor. It was very old and rundown, has a funky old home smell, musty. Lots of roaches running around, handle to Hot water on bathroom sink comes off in hand, sink backs up because there is debris in pipe going to trap. Dirty, unsafe, and not a good place to stay. We stayed here because it was close to Goose Creek. The bed was dirty. There were roaches. It was in a sketchy neighborhood. Ceiling falling in a bit. Shower was no fun. I woke up with a roach on my arm. There was a really suspicious crap looking stain on the pillow. Do not stay here. Run far, far away.

If the room was as pictured on the website with all amenities available then this would have been the review of the century. The hotel is used as a short term rental space for transient people and workers. The police drive through the area multiple times a day. My room smelled of cigarette smoke as we entered, maintenance arrived twice the first day we were there for unknown cleaning after we already checked in. I had to return my dirty towels before I could get new ones. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, but there were no utensils, plates, cups or pots and pans to be seen. The pool was out of order the entire time of our 5 day stay. Breakfast consisted of mini pancakes in a plastic bag like my kids got from their school during the pandemic and watered down juice. No coffee was available for breakfast. There are still masking required stickers on the main entrance marked 2020. The staff sat around and bickered all day, but did nothing to address the concerns of the people staying at the hotel. If I was a regional manager of this property I would be ashamed to have it listed under my name.

Overall a good experience. The floors were not as clean as they should be, had to wipe my feet before getting in bed, and wipe my socks off before putting on shoes. Shower had an incorrect size curtain and ended up getting water all over the floor. Only had 2 towels for the entire stay (did not go to the front counter for another one, could have done that). Staff were friendly but the check in area looked like you were booking into a government facility, not a hotel.

Extremely limited parking as there are broken down cars everywhere. Others don't display a parking permit and you are forced to park at a neigboring Lowes. Management is never available on site and don't return calls. Pool closed by order of the State. The list is endless. Employees are obviously aware of the shortcomings and simply say that you need to speak with mgmt.Only positive was the breakfast and the kind woman that sets it up each morning. The room I stayed in had roaches on the property. One night while I was there, I heard gunshots from my room. Whether or not they came from the property, I do not know, but they sounded too close for my comfort. The floor of the room had a hole in it. I didn't feel safe at this property.

Overall, it was a good stay, except the pictures that were on Hotels.com did not look like the place we got. It was like the pictures were Photoshop to look so much nicer and more spacious. They have a lot of people that rent monthly and live there, and there was dog feces everywhere on the walkways, and it smelled bad from that so you had to watch where you stepped. It offers a full kitchen, but had no pots and pans or dishes of any kind. So here I am on vacation from Maine and I had to go buy stuff just so I could cook meals and that was one of the main reasons I got a place like that is to have the kitchen to be able to cook and not spend so much money eating out. on Hotels.com nowhere does it state that the property would charge five dollars a night for a hotel fee I guess they call it so it was 35 more dollars than anticipated which isnt a huge price jump, but it would’ve been nice to know when budgeting for a vacation.

There is no way this hotel is 3.5 stars. Very misrepresented. Staff were nice and room was clean, but it was a sketchy area, police were called in people staying there, and kids pulled an alarm outside our room at 4am. There were no hooks to hang towels on, so we had to hang them on doorknobs. No housekeeping the whole time we were there (three nights). Do not stay here.

My husband and I came to Charleston for a day trip and ended up getting stuck and booked this hotel last minute for an overnight stay. I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg and figured this would work since it’s advertised as a 3-Star. Overall, this hotel wasn’t my cup of tea, the room had a weird incense smell, the toilet seat was stained, the outlet was missing covers, and there’s a faux duvet on the bed which was basically a blanket enclosed with two flat sheets. The staff was friendly, but this just wasn’t it for me. I would say this is really a 2.5 Star hotel rather than 3 Star.

I checked in and the room had a smell that I cannot even begin to describe. Air circulated, it did nothing. You could smell from the parking lot. When complained about, I was told to use the ozone machine. I could not complete the reservation. The shift manager approved 2 days refund, and then they charged me in full. Then refused to respond to any follow-up, even with typed conversation that they approved the 2 day refund. Never ever use this property. They are ethically immoral. I chose this place as it was near where I needed to be. The pictures look great. It is not.

I checked out 15 minutes after I checked in. I spoke with the manager Crystal who confirmed she would give me a refund. Expedia emailed me a day later stating they couldn’t get a hold of her and when they did, she refused the refund. I was charged for four nights.

The property felt unsafe and unclean and we left without spending the night. The rooms had not been cleaned (or at least not cleaned well). There were crumbs and food wrappers around the door, table, and beds. The stove was dirty and the refrigerator smelled like mildew. Another family was leaving and said their room has bed bugs. People were smoking pot in the parking lot. It was advertised as having a kitchen. Technically there was a stove and refrigerator, however there were no dishes or utensils, so I guess pack your own. We requested a refund, which was partially processed. They kept payment for 1 night, despite us not staying. The person working the desk when we first checked in was kind and understanding. Do NOT recommend staying. My family left and ended up staying at a nearby Marriott.
