We loved the room. We loved the view out the window. We loved Boppard. We loved how easy it was to walk around, to take a one day boat tour. This is a German resort town. Most restaurants did not have English menues and most people did not speak English. The local train situation was unpleasant. Getting in and out of Boppard meant local trains that were often late and very over crowded. Reservations were not possible and we had to stand on the train for an hour ride from Boppard to Mains. The Hotel provided the minimum possible in amenities. Cleaning consisted of making the beds and emptying the trash cans. There was no refrigrrator. The maid did not remove diry plates or replace the room's bottle of water when empty. The batroom floor needed washing but even though I requested it, it wasn't washed. Only one of their 3 hotel restaurants was open the entire time we were there. It served a nice breakfast. Reservations were required for diner which was a buffet. It wss booked up the night we arrived. We never ate dinner in this restaurant. The hotel had a pateo trestaurant which was only open 2 of the nights we wete there. The first night we were able to get a nice take out diner to eat at one of the tables in their 3rd restaurant, which was closed. We also got a take away dinner there the second night, but the food was not freshly prepared. After that this pateo restaurant was also closed. Fortunately, there are plenty of restaurants in Boppard that were open.

The hotel is in a good position in Boppard near the railway station and adjacent to the river promenade. Well suited to explore this part of the Rhine. Nice atmosphere, room we had was arranged around the central car park of the hotel, so that departing motor bikes cause noise. Walls of the rooms are very thin so toilet and other sounds from neighbouring rooms can be disturbing at night.

Great location, lovely hotel with huge potential. Some tiny niggles - car parking, breakfast could have had more choice…. The infrastructure is there for a superb hotel - just needs few tweaks to be absolutely top notch.

Rude, ignorant, aggressive snd confrontational staff. Cleaning staff that just walked into your room without knocking, in the end we had to have the do not disturb sign on the door the whole time, resulting in our room not being serviced for our entire stay. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Extra charge for parking your car at the hotel. If you want an enjoyable, relaxing time in Boppard DO NOT stay at the Ebertor

The hotel was very well situated and the room was very good value for our money. The reception attendant was very helpful regarding finding appropriate train schedules to get to Berg Eltz castle on the weekend and would give him a five ⭐️ rating! The only negative was when we asked for ice for our room the second time when the senior bar attendant gave my wife grief about not buying our drinks from the bar which was quite incredulous as he did not know what we were even using it for. The restaurant provide quite good food and we would definitely recommend it. Overall I would recommend this hotel for comfort, location and overall satisfaction.

The property was great. Great location. Some of the front desk staff were surly.

The hotel is large and a pleasant enough place to stay in. The wifi could be improved. The breakfast is good, and parking is onsite for a charge. A short walk in to town, and lots of good places nearby to eat and drink.

Excellent modern hotel with historical features and riverside terrace. Noisy with musical entertainment until 11.30ish on Saturday night. Boppard is a fascinating Roman town on the Rhine, but it has the noise of high speed trains late into the night. Parking and taxes are charged extra to the prepaid accommodation. Close to station and town centre.

The hotel is clean and convenient. It is located by the river on the back side and has a large parking lot on the front, which makes it handy to arrive by car. Rooms are basic and have most important necessities. However, the staff could be more friendly.

Hotel is near the river Rhein and close to Boppard city.Some nice old houses. Hotel was clean and silent and has a good restaurant.

This hotel was great, didn't look too much from outside, but the rooms are incredibly modern and well finished off, as is the interior of the hotel in general. Lots of options for dinner and drinks, many restaurants, 2 in hotel, many local, very close to town centre. I really enjoyed it. Parking was tight on my visit, they had run out of spaces, but I had a motorbike so was OK. But... I found the girl on reception to be a little abrupt when i arrived. I wasn't told at check in when or where breakfast was, and subsequently didn't take it.

Great hotel with a wonderful outdoor area.

The hotel is on the banks of the Rhine . When the weather is warm you can eat, watching the river flow past. The hotel is a bit like an American style motel with many rooms facing onto a parking courtyard. The reception staff are exceptionally helpful getting train timetables and information for any planned excursions The only small negatives we had was the difficulty on arrival, in finding the parking in the narrow streeted town and the shower flowed out of the wet area rather than towards the drain! Overall a very good base to explore this beautiful area of the Rhine gorge.

Nice location with free parking, but the rooms could use some updating. They do not look as nice as the pictures, but close. Two restaurants on site, but a bit expensive. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi was free, but had no reception in the room.. had to use ipad in the lobby only.

Arrived in a thunderstorm, and later than we'd planned, and as the Germans seem to eat early, by the time we got ourselves sorted, couldn't get any service in the hotel restaurant, so went across the road by the station restaurant for a cheap, and very good and quick meal. On a nice summer evening, I guess it would be a fantastic setting to eat outside alongside the Rhine. Good room, great bathroom. They cater for Group Tours, and it has that feel about it, and breakfast was a bit chaotic, but no real problems.
