The people here were very nice. From parking to check in to the breakfast staff. However, this is not a 4 star hotel. My husband and I travel a lot. Not only for pleasure but for work as well. We would not consider the quality of this location as a 4 star. It’s more of a 3 star. The security lock was broken on our door and I froze at night because there was only 1 sheet to cover us. There was massive closet space yet no extra blankets or sheets for the bed. Disappointed for sure.

The hotel has a lot of potential managing better all structure, cleanliness and staff!

Capcana Hotel has a very good location. One block away from Paulista Avda. Good breakfast.

Enormous room (50 sqm), with very comfortable bed but in need of some renovations. Staff is not friendly and slow. Breakfast is just right. The place could be much better

As my visit Sao Paulo went to work, the place was nice and it suited my purposes.

Staff very welcoming and ready to help! The room was large, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast super ok compared to other hotels outside of Brazil.

The hotel has a nice location and staff. The room is not so beautiful as it seems in the pictures. It need to be painted since the walls and ceiling are duty. The towels were terrible. Very old and the tags on it are for Ramada Hotel. It seems that they bought old towels from another hotel. Breakfast is horrible.

The only downside was that hotel reception did not speak Engslish, so it was impossible to communicate

The hotel is at a very convenient location near Paulista avenue with the metro and a lot of buses nearby. The rooms and facilities are in good condition and fairly clean. But, the wifi was unstable. Everything was quite fine, except my check-in experience. I met only one staff member (the manager?) who can actually speak English. This actually led to a bad experience for me. I booked and paid in advance for a standard room for 3 nights. At check-in, the night-shift staff told me in one sentence that the standard rooms were full, so they gave me a bigger room. The next morning at 10am right before I was leaving for some site-seeing, they called my room and asked me to move to a smaller room and that they would send the bellboy to help. I was totally unprepared for a move because they didn't mention the "bigger room" was for 1 night only. But the staff didn't understand anything I said and just repeated "you have to move and a bellboy will come to help". So I had to spend 30 minutes repacking and waiting at the room for the bellboy to bring me to the smaller room. The bellboy didn't come. I decided not to waste time sitting in the room. So, I left my stuff in the room, handed the key to front desk who said "oh, we decided to move you later(!)"- which I had to find out myself! That nite, I met the English speaking manager, who was apologetic about the incident when he gave me the new room key. Maybe I was unlucky - but a bad taste is left no matter how helpful they're thereafter

It was my first time to go to Brazil alone. It was great to me. Although i can not speak portugues, thanks to kind and well trained staff i could enjoy my journey. Also the location is perfect to me. I tried to find well located with resonable price. And here has perfect spec that i needed. However it was disappointed likewise other customer said of curtain. It was tored and stiffen. Also the noise from outside was easily to be heared so i sometimes wake up during night.

We where quite disappointed there where good reviews this is why we chose this hotel but it turns out to be quite mediocre they supply 2 towels and nothing else the hotel room was very noisy there's s bar restaurant downstairs open late and very noisy guest services at the help desk his not really available to solve any problems

Well located, walking distance from avenidad paulista. Room was very small. Cable didn't work properly. Tv remote Didn't work. Great air conditioning unit. Good place for the value. Very nice breakfast and the restaurant had good food quality

The location is good,near the paulista street and metro.The hotel staff are excellent.The breakfast is ok.But the wifi can not work during my stay.

I would like to highlight the staff predisposition to help. I had forgotten my plug adaptor and they did everything they could to get me one.

the hotel is okay. If you have any interest in watching tv...meaning anything in english...unless you want CNN then stay somewhere else. Besides that when I ate dinner at the hotel the soup was disappointing and it took FOREVER to (never) get my fruit salad. I thought maybe he was growing the fruits back there. It was a deal item where you picked soup/salad, entree choice of two, and dessert choice of two. Eventually I just left because I couldn't sit around waiting for a fruit salad. There was only one other group in the restaurant. Finally the lady went and asked again and the chef just forgot. At which point I had enough. Then I went to pay and they took nothing off for their error and charged me a service fee. Total bull. Besides this - only one elevator for 11 floors? And a small one at that? Door to outside balcony never shut completely and wall a/c unit just doesn't do it.

I was very happy with the hotel staff. Especially Eduardo, Paulo and Mariana. They were professional and extremely effecent. I also liked having the same staff present during most of my stay. They knew who I was and my needs. This made me feel more at home and not like another customer. The room was very clean. However, the dark curtins that are used to block the sun were absolutely filthy. It was embarrassing that such a nice room would have this one attribute which could ruin anyone's confidence in the hotel and it's cleaning staff.

I arrived to check in at 19:30 having to leave for a meeting the next morning and was informed that the hotel does not supply iron or ironing board. After explaining the urgency of ironing my shirt for the next morning's meeting, I was informed that the hotel had a pay service and could only iron my shirt and it be ready the next afternoon! I call early the next morning only to be told that the individual did not come into work until 9:30. When I arrived in my non-smoking room it reeked of cigar smoke and did so for the three days I was there. A Ramada in São Paulo, the business capital of Latin America, and especially one located in the heart of the financial center should have the minimum of standards for a business traveler. This one does not and should be avoided.
