We were given a room with no view of the ocean at check in, even though I was sold an ocean view room. It appears many of the rooms at the hotel have their view obstructed by a building in front. The front desk originally objected, but we were finally given a new room after waiting for an hour and it had a better view.

Stayed here a few times and always had a lovely time. Although to be honest I would have preferred a different room not right at the top on the 5th floor in the roof. Next time we go will make sure I request a different spot. That said the staff are lovely the cafe and Restaurant on site is great lovely pizza and always a queue for ice cream. Rounded off the night with some great Mojito’s. will be back next year I am sure. Thanks

Good new / bad news. The good news is that our room on the 5th floor had a spectacular view of the ocean. The bad news is that though it appears the hotel caters exclusively to families and older couples on tour, the bar (which is the only happening place in San Saba) caters to all the young people in town. Even worse, the bar doesn't get cranked up until 10 at night and the loud music goes on and on and one until 1-2 a.m. in the morning. Bottom line is that although the staff was very friendly and the food we had at the restaurant was really really good unless you want to be kept awake until the wee hours of the night by the raucous bar music and noise this is NOT the place to stay. Coupled with furniture that barely even met dormitory basic standards and the incessant pigeon shit up on the fifth floor this is not a place I would recommend for anyone over 35 years old unless you like to party and stay up all night long. It seems as though the owners only care about raking in the money from older tourists and families staying at the hotel and then raking in the money from the kids at the bar and disco, hotel guests be damned.

Wow! This is a WONDERFUL place to stay weather family or romantic getaway! It's a mini resort in a beautiful location, the service is amazing, the place is clean and very cute and beachy! Every amenity and everything right on site; pool, beach, mini store, gelateria, bar, cafe, restaurant, club, sports bar, etc! Wifi in the room, at the pool, and even at the beach! NO need to leave! First off, when we got there they wanted to put us on the 3rd floor without an elevator, but I had my elderly handicapped mother with me. The desk attendant was great; he worked the reservations around and got us a room on the first floor (although smaller) right next to the pool. Then, beach access is so incredibly close! So perfect for my Mother who does not walk well. Also, we did not do the half board or full board, but the al-a-carte menu at the restaurant was so reasonably priced, and the service was fantastic! Oh and they have lifeguards everywhere! Any time any kid is in the water, they are right on top of it... hovering. Loved that! Lastly, and best of all, they have a kid service that scoops your kids right up from you morning and evening to entertain and watch them so you can relax. Planning a trip back there this summer!
