The apartment was very complete and modern. We loved the kitchen and the diningtable so that we could have breakfast in our apartment. A good supermarket is on 10 minutes walking distance. Also Nijo Castle is on walking distance as well as the busstop and the trainstation. The bathroom has a very nice dryingsystem which we loved. Also there was enough closetspace which is quite unusual in Japan. The only two things we didn't like was the fact that the matresses were quite hard and the double bed in the separate bedroom was a bit too small. But it is a very good place to stay.

Great place to stay. Easy to access from a subway station or nearby bus stops. In a very quiet neighbourhood. Staff very helpful. The apartment had everything you wanted for a short stay. It comfortably accommodated my wife and I and our daughter and 8 year old grandson. Lots of very helpful tourist advice as well.

Property was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed including a washing machine. Staff were very friendly and helpful for our stay.

Good location with several transportation options to main attractions. Unit was very clean except there was a stain on the duvet cover. Kitchen was well equipped and functional. Limited dining options within walking distance.

The property is so clean and accessible to the grocery store but most of all, close to Nijo Castle and the Imperial Palace. Special mention to Mickie who did a superb job in booking us a ride from Kyoto to Osaka. We were satisfied with Mickie with her excellent English. Thanks also to the driver who took us to Osaka. We did not have a hard time in communicating because of her superb English.

Our family loved our stay here. The room/apartment was clean and spacious. We were able to relax and cook in the kitchen, as well as do laundry. There are convenience stores nearby, so we can shop easily. There are also nearby train and bus stations for easy access to transportation. We will definitely stay here again.

A very nice basic property. The receptionist assisted us to book Xmas dinner at a restaurant for 8 people. We had 2 bedroom apartments; washing machine and clothes dryer was well used over our stay. Small kitchen with fridge and freezer. Easy walk to buses, trains or supermarkets (7eleven, lessons). Beds were comfortable. Nice quaint area, very quiet. Walking distance to Kyoto palace, public transport required for other tourist locations (but generally just a bus away (or bus & train). There were bicycles for rent at the hotel, we did not use them, Would recommend anyone wanting an apartment to stay here.

Great location, exceptional staff. Perfect for a family stay.

Almost everything was fantastic. From the kitchen, to rooms and the bathroom, everything was great. The rooms were gpod size, clean, well maintained and well equiped all round. It felt really a home away from home. The bathroom doubles as the clothes drying room too as the bathroom system has a heater/ventilation/dryer feature. Though I might still had preferred a dedicated clothes dryer machine, but the workflow still happen to suit me well and this was the first time in cold country where I can feel warm after a bath in winter. The staff were helpful too, able to provide us with baby high chairs etc. And were very polite. Maybe one issue was that the main hall's heater was not really strong enough to heat up the hall, kitchen and ensuite room. Convenience stores, supermarkets and train station were ard 10 minutes walk away (I was with a toddler). The surroundings was very peaceful. Highly recommended.

I am definitely coming back here if we’re to travel to Kyoto again. Everything was perfect for family trip and I got nothing to complain about. It was clean, space were wide, staffs were kind and the location was pretty good.

We had a lovely stay at Kyoto Four sisters Residence. Their property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and easily accessible to busses and the Karsuma Line (Subway). We stayed at the one bedroom. Our unit has a washer (and uses the heating feature in the bathroom to hang our clothes to dry). The property is very well maintained and for longer term stay, you can even rent a rice cooker from them! Aya from the front desk was able to reserve a Kaiseki dinner for us at Tategami, Kyoto Style Japanese Restaurant. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. The waitress was able to explain each dish with limited English. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and will stay here again if we return to Kyoto in the future.

This was perfect for my husband and I celebrating our anniversary. It was clean and quiet and very pretty. The location was great and the staff are excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. The room is very spacious and full well equipped kitchen, washing machine. It’s very clean. It’s located very near train station and bus stop. The supermarket is right nearby within walking distance . I would definitely recommend Kyoto Four Sisters Residence if you come to Kyoto.

This property was well maintained and very clean. Much bigger than any other property we have stayed at, with 2 rooms, living room and a kitchen area. They even had a camera for the door so that you can see who is at the door. Very happy with this stay and by far the favorite.

Loved the room size, amenities within and great location as a base for sightseeing in Kyoto. Close to rail station and bus network, and supermarkets all in short walking distance

Spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to metro station. Nijo castle and Manga museum nearby. Kitchen in apartment good - we stayed 4 nights and cooked for ourselves two nights.

I really enjoyed how this property gives you a local vibe. I didn’t see many other foreigners in the area, it felt very local. The area felt safe and we had no problems checking in and checking out. The room has everything you need if you plan to stay for a long duration. They have a washer and you can dry your clothes either in the washroom or outside in the balcony. A kitchen and also very spacious bedroom, living room. I especially enjoyed their shower and tub which was very relaxing after a long walking day. One down side, its a little of a further walk from the nearest station.

I recommend this hotel. We had WIFI issues but it was resolved with high attention in a timely manner. They speak English so there was no communication problem. It was very clean and very specious. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was a surprise. We have never been to Kyoto and didn't know where to stay, but this hotel had friendly staff who helped with sending our luggage to Osaka (our next stop) and the apartment was very spacious with separate rooms and comfortable beds. The location was ideal, next to cafés, restaurants and public transit. Bus stops are nearby. The drying room in the bathroom took some time to figure out but after washing our clothes, the room dried our clothes perfecly. I wish we had these in the USA! I would stay here again.

We had a great time at Kyoto Four Sisters Residence! The location is close to bus and train transportation, which makes it easy to see lots of different places, from temples to the downtown shopping district. Room was spacious and we were able to borrow a rice cooker. We will be staying here whenever we visit Kyoto again. :)

Amazing customer service, staff in the front desk was so nice and help us a lot. Room was big a confortable. It has a big body massage chair, really convenient after long walks! In the top of that restaurants, temples near by.

Great place especially for longer stay. Location is good with subway and buses. Area is clean and quiet, and yet close to supermarkets and convenience stores etc. Highly recommended.
