Description and photos are very accurate. Great hosts, beautiful home, very clean & comfortable, well equipped, and everything worked (keep looking, there IS a “power” touch spot on the dishwasher), lovely flowers, friendly neighbors & fireflies in the evening. The star of the show is the wonderful deck right on the creek.

Loved everything about this home. We spent most of our time on the backdeck and water. We should have brought our waders, so do not leave those at home. This place is amazing. We played the games that were provided and enjoyed our family time. Bring or buy firewood because all the fallen limbs are too damp, however this does not reflect on this home. Best get away ever with three kiddos!

We were in need of some mountain time and found this gem on Vrbo. Location was fabulous right in town and the main road but once inside near to no road noise especially if enjoying the sounds of Jonathan Creek going by your back deck. We were only a family of four and this place could certainly accommodate a larger group. But this was absolutely a home away from home feel from the moment we walked into the home we knew we had booked the perfect place. We fished and enjoyed the creek each day of our trip, and had a blast doing so. Kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed to cook meals in home and we took advantage of the charcoal grill as well. Communication with owners was super fast and we can’t say it enough what a wonderful time we had enjoying this home. Hope to utilize it again. Beach 4 out!

Our visit to Maggie Valley was so peaceful, in part to this house. We lived on the back deck with the noises of the rushing creek. I was concerned that being on the main road would be noisy but the creek masked all of that noise. It’s very close to the BRPc SMNP and Cataloochee. Waynesville is minutes away. It’s a great location and great vacation home.

We really enjoyed our stay at the river house. We had a group of 6 stay in the house. One thing to note is the second bedroom downstairs is very small. The master and master bath have had a recent remodel and are really nice. The only other room is upstairs with 3 beds in one room. Master has a full shower/bath and there is another bathroom downstairs without a shower. The other shower is upstairs. The house was very clean and the back deck right next to the river as amazing.

Great location - Very clean property- the stream in backyard was very serene…conveniently located in Maggie Valley (walking distance to multiple shops and restaurants) and less than 10 minutes drive to awesome restaurants in Waynesville as well.

My family enjoyed every minute of our stay in Maggie Valley. The house was better than we expected. Very spacious, great outdoor area in a great location. Doug and Cathy are awesome hosts…quick to respond to any questions. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting the Maggie Valley area.

My family of 6 had a great time staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed the river being in the backyard! Cute, very clean, and had all we needed for a great stay. My girls enjoyed staying in the large loft area and we had plenty of space to spread out. Definitely a “vintage” 70-80’s vibe, but also very well maintained. Would definitely return.

We stayed for a long weekend. Lots of space to spread out. The backyard is just lovely with the hot tub and stream. Very easy to get to, no windy mountain roads. Close to everything and very clean. Will absolutely stay here again.

The house we stayed in was perfectly described in the ad, it was clean, tidy and had everything we needed to make our stay convenient. The owners were very nice and prompt in communicating with me, and the location was absolutely perfect for the places we wanted to visit. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great location; exactly as described. Home is better suited for a large family (just 3 of us); however we enjoyed ourselves. The deck is really large and a great place to relax listening to the water flowing through the creek. The home has multiple sitting areas and provides entertainment for all ages. As noted a great home for family gatherings. Very convenient location. Doug and Cathy were excellent hosts!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The deck space right on the creek and porch sitting area was fabulous! The location was in main street area of Maggie Valley. I was a little disappointed about the quality of mattress on the single bed downstairs ans upstairs. The rest of the beds were nice. We caught 3 fish off the balcony! Overall, a wonderful place!

I don’t feel the listed photos of this house really did it justice. Home is spacious and offers great views of the river from the master suite, deck, and hot tub. Our family of six adults were all comfortable. We even brought out Nintendo Switch, played games, and watched movies together on the large TV. We brought our own food and cooked almost all our meals in the kitchen

Location is perfect! Everything was clean! The master bedroom, deck, and open concept was awesome! The internet was super fast which is always appreciated. The garage was a nice addition and all the games and movies were a nice touch! The only issue we ran into was the oven didn’t seem to work great but it still did the job, just took a bit longer to cook our food. Overall still give this home 5 stars!

This property was all around amazing from the Cleanliness of the house. The cozy front porch to the amazing view and sounds of the creek from the hot tub. Doug and Cathy were super easy to communicate with. 10/10 plan on returning to their amazing home.

We really enjoyed this property and the beautiful Maggie Valley. The stream behind the house is amazing to listen to from the hot tub and the master bedroom. There was plenty of room in the house for a bigger family! We really enjoyed and will be back to this location for sure!!! Thank you!

The rushing water out back is fantastic and so soothing. Home has adequate basics in the kitchen. Would recommend bringing blankets for those cold winter nights. House is very functional

The cabin was really clean and convenient to anywhere in Maggie Valley. We loved the creekside deck, and the scenery and the sound of the water was more than soothing. To top it off the views of the mountains with fall foilage were incredible! Great communication with our hosts and easy check in/check out. Can’t wait for a return trip!

The house was very clean, beautiful, open floor plan made it very easy to access rooms on bottom floor, upstairs room was so lovely and pleasant, The peaceful creek running off the back deck was just what we needed to escape for a few days. Loved it.
