Just great, fantastic staff, great atmosphere, fabulous food, warm spotless room and a very comfortable bed, on site free parking, fab breakfast, will definitely return when next in the area Thank you to all at The White Lion

it’s a lovely pub, lovely setting, v friendly staff, nice food

the restaurant is really cold, the waitress was wearing a padded fillet. we were last to book, unfortunately we go the smallest room - avoid room 9. we would definitely stay again, but choose a better room

excellent on the pub side, great beer, well looked after. personable and helpful staff.

accommodation on the cramped side of cosy, but very clean . disappointedly bland food ( dishes on other tables looked better than our choices- we both regretted not ordering the fish and chips, it looked fabulous) but unfortunately the mussels were served in an insipid watery liquid, and the veggie lasagna was unrecognisable. shame, would only take a bit of care to improve them. shame we had to leave early and missed the opportunity for our experience to be at least partially rescued by breakfast.

Great village Inn, handy location for the train station into Birmingham Airport etc. Friendly pub atmosphere and staff.

Superb location for NEC, World Resorts Arena and Birmingham city centre. 5 min walk to train station, 3 min journey to Bham international station. Beautiful quaint village location with good amenities all within walking distance. Friendly warm atmosphere in pub. It was tastefully decorated for the festive season. We had dinner there. Both our meals were obviously all home cooked and absolutely mouthwatering delicious. Breakfast included in overnight stay price. Would highly recommend as an alternative to the big chain hotels. Thank you we will return

Stayed before,but this time had an evening meal,which was excellent. Lovely atmosphere in the pub and a great pint. Breakfast still as good as ever,room comfortable and warm. Great place to stay before a flight. Totally recommend

Great stay at the White Lion, a 400 year old In . Quirky room with low door frames and roof in the shower - but didn’t detract from a very comfortable bed.

Very good breakfast, the location was ideal as I was visiting the NEC, Also access to the motorway on the way home was perfect.

Limited menu for dinner but what I had was good.

Good location, nice and quiet, staff very pleasant, and a good breakfast. Rooms and bar very clean. Drink facilities in the Room and biscuits, if you needed any extra no problem.

Bed was too soft for us but would have been okay for some people. We stayed on a Sunday night and they stopped doing food at 4 o'clock as there was a quiz on that night, so we had to get a taxi to the nearest place for something to eat.
