Die Lage ist gut, direkt neben dem National Park Marino Ballena. Das Hotel besitzt eine kleine Rezeption, die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich. Zimmer & Pool sind schön, gut zum relaxen. Es gibt ein Hoteleigenes Restaurant und viele kleine Bars & Restaurants in der Umgegend. Wir waren hier nur kurz für 2 Nächte. Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen.

Obwohl das hauseigene Restaurant sehr sehr gute Speisen hat, ist es doch auch ein gutes Stück teurer als die Konkurrenz in der Gegend. Für kürzere Aufenthalte sehr gut.

Joli établissement avec une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir à Uvita. La chambre était très spacieuse.

Nous n’avons pas pu manger à l’hôtel car le restaurant était fermé, la réception ne nous a proposé aucune alternative. Les prix pourraient être affichés sur la carte du petit-déjeuner…

El hotel es muy bonito, la piscina tiene una temperatura agradable, la habitación estaba muy limpia y el aire acondicionado funcionaba bien. La cercanía del hotel al parque Marino Ballena es super buena y además hay restaurantes cerca.

El parqueo definitivamente tiene que mejorar, es muy pequeño y casi siempre hay que dejar el carro en la calle y como es de lastre se ensucia mucho. También mejoraría la comodidad del colchón de las camas.

Que tiene parqueo solo como para 6 carros, toca dejar el carro en la calle, y es polvosa, entonces se ensucia demasiado .

Pool was nice and location was good for national park.

On checking in, a long wait as only one staff member, she did her best but was over loaded. NO towels till hours after check in. Bits of paper in room and floor filthy. The worst was that first day, often no-one in reception and some other guests walked right through and into our room - which was just a snib lock from their side. We could not ensure our security from our side and never really felt comfortable for the next 4 days. Also very noisy - partly from busy reception, partly as other side cars parking and going at all hours and a lot of very loud music and other from recreation ground till early hours every night. One day town water got cut off, the hotel drinking water was affected and when asking about drinking water at reception were told rudely to go to supermarket. No water for nearly 24 hours, no flushing of toilets etc. Description also did not match, pictures of our room type showed sofa and balcony with chairs and table, none of which existed.

Gute Lage, super schöne & moderne Anlage, sehr nettes Personal, netter Pool, Balkone Richtung Pool/ Dschungel, viel Platz im Zimmer, Möglichkeiten Sachen aufzuhängen, sauber, schönes Bad, Yoga Bereich, eigenes Restaurant, Supermarkt fußläufig

Sehr hellhörig; man versteht jedes Wort der Nachbarn ;) Bett ein bisschen sehr weich für unseren Geschmack.

La situation

Vu le prix il manque des équipements dans la chambre : pas de télévision, pas de machine à café,… Idem autour de la piscine il manque des transats . Comme les plages d’Uvita sont inaccessibles avec la fermeture du parc , alors tout le monde se rabat vers la piscine et il y a vite pénurie de transat. Nous avons du passer l’après-midi sur une chaise et au soleil = pas terrible !

Very nice hotel/hostel located very close to the Marino Ballena National Park. Dorms were big with a lot of space for suitcases as well, and have a small balcony too. Beds and bathroom were all very clean. Hotel also has a nice pool and there is a good restaurant located "within" the hotel as well. Perfect stay for a relaxing day or couple of days in Bahia. Right at the end of the street is also the Bahia bus station which, although there are no frequent buses there, is convenient.

Although the hotel mentions Uvita, it is actually not located in Uvita but in Bahia and is located "far" away from Uvita if you don't have access to a car. The center of Uvita with shops, restaurants and cafes is 30 minutes away on foot and there is not a lot of options in terms of food and supermarkets nearby.

The pool was wonderful and the staff were friendly. The room was a decent size and modern. The beach is in walking distance but charges $6/person to enter. We discovered they have a room with a small kitchen to prepare food. No one told us about it, as we would have prepared more to eat ourselves. The greenery and vegetation within the site is lovely.

The showers were always cool. Could not get even warm water. The air conditioner needed a repair, dripped all night. The hotel is on a very dusty road so patio doors and tables were often gritty. The beach doesn’t offer passes for a few days. You must pay each day. Breakfast is not included and is $22/day per couple. Even a continental breakfast would have been something. We ended up paying over $200/night Canadian.

Great value for money, nice rooms, lovely pool and top location !

The Hotel is very nice and clean. The beds comfortable. Problematic areas: restaurant and concierge. The restaurant has a different management. They kept techno music very loud from 4 PM till 11 PM. Being in the dorms and waking up early to do activities made it impossible to be able to sleep. I said this to the concierge and they said there was not much they could do. I spoke directly to the restaurant and the last day they kept the music at a slightly lower volume. The concierge was not particularly helpful and did not communicate essential information right away such as use of the kitchen, time of check out which was indicated as 10 AM. I pointed out that 10 AM was not what Booking indicated, then they said that the sign was wrong and that check out was at 11 AM. Booking, again, indicates between 10 AM and 11.30 AM. All and all, I would not recommend it.

Fabulous clean, modern accommodation. Superb bathroom! Loved the handy pool and the extremely comfortable sun loungers provided. The staff were always accessible and helpful. Such a relaxing place! Short walk to nearby restaurants and the national park. The beach was a great spot to watch the sunset. There was a kitchenette at the hotel with a water dispenser, free coffee and cooking facilities. Loved our stay here!

A coffee machine in the room would have been even better! Housekeeping only came once in our 4 day stay, although we were able to get clean towels, no problem. Not sure if that was normal, but it didn’t spoil a wonderful stay!

Handy for the beach. The staff were great - reception staff, especially Kevin, very helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious.

The hotel is overwhelmed by the restaurant at the back. They played loud music from 10am to 10pm, which van be heard in every room and beside the pool. Not a relaxing hotel. Didn't like the nylon sheets.

La ubicación , con el parque , y está bien , habitaciones cómodas , amplias , muy bonitas , con 2 puertas , una a la piscina y otra a lado contrario y muy aseado. Muy amables en recepción , un rico refresco de bienvenida te dan , tiene wifi. El restaurante parece ser muy famoso para extranjeros .

Muy poco parqueo , y en el.parqueo no acomodan bien los carros , el restaurante no es propio , muy caro , es para extranjeros prácticamente, tal vez tv ( comprendo el tipo de ambiente por lo cual supongo no hay ) para quienes no salimos mucho en.la noche xq no hay . Entraban cien pies al cuarto. El baño tal vez un poquito pequeño con ese tipo de cápsula q está bonita. Lo dicho no son motivos para no visitarle solo aspectos minimos .

Habitación amplia con baño cómodo. Ducha con agua caliente y buena presión. La zona común de la piscina era muy bonita y daba gusto darse un baño al acabar el día. El restaurante del hotel también estaba muy bien y acompañaba el buen ambiente.

El último tramo de acceso al hotel era una pista de piedras, no lo más adecuado para pasear o ir en coche. También se podría mejorar el aislamiento acústico de las habitaciones, se escuchaba bastante entre habitaciones y sobre todo la música del restaurante. Para nosotros no fue un gran inconveniente porque no tuvimos vecinos ruidosos y el bar cerraba a las 22h, pero para otras personas sí puede ser un problema.

Quite pricey and no breakfast included. Not sure if the onsite restaurant is under same management or not but the staff there were arrogant and dismissive so hopefully not. We opted to use the kitchen provided by the hotel to get our own coffee and breakfast and avoid the abuse in the restaurant

Décoration récente Climatisation

On attend d’un hôtel de pouvoir dormir et se reposer . C’est impossible dans cet hôtel ! Les chambres ne sont pas isolées !! On entend absolument tous les bruits des chambres voisines : ronflements, discussion, musique !! On dort avec les voisins . Aussi, le restaurant collé à l’hôtel passe une musique forte toute la journée et le soir !! Boom boom en boucle . Enfin le bruit de la route à proximité . La propreté laisse fortement à désirer : ménage de la chambre moyen, les vitres dégoûtantes .. les couloirs plein de poussières et de terres .. des traces de pas sur les murs . Le parking est minuscule : on doit donc se garer dans le rue .. la route devant l’hôtel est faite de terre, si bien qu’on prend un bain de poussières lorsqu’on sort . L’odeur des poubelles à l’entrée est infecte . Pas de verre à eau , ni de petit réfrigérateur . Personnel peu efficace : rien n’a été fait pour le problème de bruit… lorsqu’on explique que le séjour était déplorable .. réponse : « parfait » .. si ce n’est pas se moquer du client ! Enfin 20 dollars pour une lessive de 5 t-shirts, 3 shorts et 5 slips .. très cher ! Étrangement les commentaires négatifs sont relayés aux dernières pages sur booking ..

Das Personal war sehr nett und der Pool und die kleine Anlage sehr schön. Das Zimmer hat auch eine tolle Größe gehabt. Wirklich toll ist das Handbuch für Empfehlungen, was man per WhatsApp geschickt bekommt.

Das Restaurant direkt hinter dem Pool spielt ab mittags bis 22 Uhr sehr laute Musik. Zudem sind dort auch viele Gäste von extern, die abends einfach eine gewisse Lautstärke mitbringen. Da die Wände sehr dünn sind, hört man einfach alles - das ist sehr schade. Zudem können wir das Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen: extrem überteuert, schlechter Service und Essen nur ok - dafür kann aber das hotel nichts, da das Restaurant von jemand externen betrieben wird.

Super schöner Pool, nettes Personal und tolle große Zimmer mit besonders guter Ausstattung

Top locatie: vele restaurantjes dichtbij en het strand op 5 minuten loopafstand. Er was een wasservice waar wij gebruik van hebben gemaakt, 6 dollar per kilo en het was snel klaar. Mooie ruime kamer met balkon en airco. Daarnaast super goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Tip: Falafel Uvita ligt praktisch naast het hotel en is erg lekker om te lunchen/dineren!

Het restaurant in het hotel was erg prijzig (vb: pizza Margherita €17,90). Verder staat de muziek van het restaurant de hele tijd (hard) aan tot 22u s’avonds en dat hoor je goed in de kamers.

Beautiful hotel and accommodations. Great pool, although it was really warm. Reasonably close to the whale tale beach. Great yoga studio above the on-site restaurant.

Would’ve liked a refrigerator in our room. But there was a shared kitchen, where we could put drinks in a larger refrigerator. Also would be nice if the road in front of the hotel was paved, obviously out of their control. But just to be aware when walking to the beach, it is a pretty rough and rocky road for about 200 m.

The front desk staff at the hotel were absolutely marvelous and helpful 100% of the time, prior to getting there and on site. The location is walkable to the national park for almost anyone, which has some of the most interesting and enjoyable beaches in Costa Rica. The staff helped us book a whale watching tour that was also amazing and had a lot of added value. They were extremely attentive and kind. The room was spacious and had everything we needed.

Could add more seating to the pool area. The room sleeping pillows could be better, but they were acceptable

The venue is clean and has a lovely pool and very good restaurant.

If you're looking for a place to rest, this is not the right hotel for you. The walls are paper thin, you can essentially hear your neighbors' phone vibrating on their desk. The music is loud until late in the evening, although the restaurant should presumably close at 10 pm.
