Super mooie gloednieuwe boomhut! Geweldige buitenbadkamer (wel alleen koud water maar dat is juist wel lekker als het warm is) en groot bed. Het was heel schoon. Ook was de veranda met uitzicht op de Pidurangala rock super. Het was tof om in een boomhut te slapen. De hosts waren mega aardig en gastvrij! Wilden je met alles helpen en kunnen een super lekkere rice & curry voor je maken (wel wat prijziger t.o.v andere guesthouses). Ze hebben ook super lieve dochters die graag met je spelen. Al met al voelden we ons er heel erg thuis en hadden we spijt dat we maar 1 nachtje hadden geboekt.

Een prachtige boomhut op een fantastische plek. Uitzicht op Pidurangala Rock vanaf het terras. Rustig gelegen maar dichtbij Sigiriya, Pidurangala en Dambulla. Maar polonnaruwa is ook goed bereikbaar. De accomodatie is zeer proper, al wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het gastgezin is zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. De gastvrouw maakt heerlijke curry’s, het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid. De 2 kinderen zijn ook uiterst charmant. De vader brengt je met zijn tuktuk naar waar je wil. Je voelt je daar zeer welkom. Het was er fantastisch.

Alles was perfect.

The location is perfect to visit Sigiriya Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock, and all the interesting places around Sigiriya. The owners are very kind and helpful. I had dinner 2 days there and it was delicious traditional food. I enjoyed a lot of the environment, the astonishing views and nature sounds.

Ein wirklich bezaubernde Unterkunft in einem Baumhaus, direkt am Waldrand - einmal etwas ganz anderes! Die Gast-Familie ist super-freundlich, hilfsbereit (Abholung vom nächstgelegenen Bahnhof, Organisation eines Motorrollers, usw.) und total sympathisch! Ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb von Sigiriya in Richtung des Pidurangala Rocks. Landestypisches, gutes und üppiges Frühstück,. Gleiches gilt für 2 Abendessen (gegen Aufpreis); die ich ebenfalls wirklich genossen habe.

WLAN ist super-langsam. Dusche ist nur kalt.

Super leuke boomhut met een echte jungle ervaring

The Treehouse is really new and it is just one on the whole place. You can get local food and really kind service in the Treehouse or at the family’s place. We cooked together with the nice family and the owner drives with his tuktuk to every place you want. He also recommend special places and explains the culture of Sri Lanka. Trips we did from here: - sunrise hike to Pidurangala and lake with view on Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock - Sigiriya Lion Rock - Polonnaruva - Safari in Minneriya National Park (spontaneous organized from owner) - Anuradhapura District - Ayurveda Spa - Herbal Garden

Nothing

Man wird sofort in der Familie herzlich aufgenommen. Der Blick auf den Pidurangala ist hier besonders schön. Es wird sich immer wieder nach dem Wohlergehen erkundigen und es bleibt kaum ein Wunsch offen. Ein Hauch von Luxus im Regenwald. Es ist alles Neu und somit auch alles noch super in Schuss.

War alles wie erwartet und besser.
