We booked this place several weeks ago, and checked in late July 3rd. When my 3 little kids walked in it immediately smelled like perfume and cigarettes. It was making us sick to our stomachs and we had to sit outside on the porch while we waited over an hour for the owner to come. They did though and showed up with an air purifier, which actually did help. We were grateful. But…after they left and when my kids were getting ready for bed they found that their bathroom was crawling with bugs! The same type of bug was crawling on my child’s leg on the main level while sitting on the couch. They were thoroughly freaked out and wouldn’t get in bed. Unacceptable. I took videos of several areas where live bugs and spiders were inside the home and texted them to the owner and also left a voicemail. By 9pm I still hadn’t heard back, and knowing it was a holiday the next day (and that the owner lives at least 30 mins away) I decided I needed to leave and get my kids somewhere cleaner and safer for the night. We are now disputing with VRBO for a full refund. It was a nightmare! The home could be a wonderful stay, but every corner and windowsill (and even all around the outside!) needs to be sprayed for bugs and spiders and thoroughly cleaned. Very disappointing! It ruined our 4th of July weekend.

A great place to stay near family that lives near there.

The location is the best for easy access to and from the airport. A short 25 minutes up Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird. The neighborhood is perfect setting if you are not able to enjoy ski in and ski out accommodation. Rooms are spacious. We definitely plan to stay again. If I could ask for changes over the next 12 months before February 2024, I would say: 1. Spa instructions to get it hot and clean; 2. new stove; Long term improvement capital improvement would be kitchen and dining room flooring; heating system that allows basement to enjoy warmth without sending all the heat to the upper level. Overall, it is awesome!!!!

This home is a dream find for anyone looking to stay in the Sandy area! We visited as a group of 4 skiers and the proximity to the mouth of the Little Cottonwood Canyon was ideal for the early morning trips to Alta/Snowbird. There are 4 separate bedrooms with ample space, 2 with ensuite washrooms and one with a bunk bed in case you need extra sleeping arrangements. The large private hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes, with even a view of the nearby mountains in the winter! I honestly have 0 negative critiques about the home, every aspect exceeded our expectations. Our host Jackie left very clear access instructions and was always just a quick call away if needed. We loved our stay here and will 100% be back on our next visit to Utah.
