The phone in the room did not work. It was under the dresser unplugged. Getting service on the room was iffy... you had to request it, have your name on the list, and maybe they would get to it. I had to request towels several times because they didn't get to my room. For what we needed it for, the location was great. The front desk day staff was friendly, however the night staff was not as well versed in running a hotel. I would stay again, but my expectations are now in line with the property.

For the price this place was good. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful. However, the TV was not easy to operate, the smoke detector was missing and the bath sink water was hooked up in reverse.

service was very friendly. We upgraded to a room with a king bed and a couch, with a table and a couple of chairs. It was fine except, there was an actual hole in the one wall about the size of a lemon, one wall had large scratches and black marks, and the air condition filter was nasty and full of lint.

I was traveling through. I got the wheelchair accessible room. The room was nice, the bed was good, the shower was the stuff of a third world hotel. The drywall and tile were horrible. The fact that the ownership set this quality aside for those in a wheelchair is reprehensible.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Checkin and out was extremely simple. Nice pool area also. Quiet as well. Only 12 mins from Glenwood springs so very convenient.

The side entrance door did not lock - it was duct taped so the lock on the door didn't lock. That is how they solve a problem when the card reader doesn't work I guess. So anyone can go in and out of the hotel anytime of day or night - My door did not lock unless I pulled the door shut hard or hip checked it once I was inside to ensure closure - unsafe is certainly the way I felt - the breakfast was very disappointing - just make 4 food items good. That's it; at one point there wasn't any coffee or OJ for well over an hour - I travel very frequently and the things that make a hotel great are hot water, shower pressure, bed and pillow comfort, simple and good breakfast, staff friendliness, and safety -
