Clean and quiet. lakeview rooms had balconies. Loved that. Good location. Comfortable. They even have exhaust fans in the restroom! Now if all hotels would put in more towel bars or hooks that would be great.

Poop stained carpet… poop stained toilet… Big nasty toe nail on floor along with other trash. Bathroom reeked of mold! Finer prints all over surfaces of everything. Waited 30 minutes to check in.

It’s a decent hotel. I just wish the housecleaning had a bit more attention to detail. Crumbs on the chair. Toilet could have been cleaner. I had to clean it better before we used it.

We always enjoy our stay at the Inn on Lake Superior. We had a king bed with sofa sleeper room on the lakeside and really liked it. We love the fact that every room has a patio with chairs where we can sit and enjoy looking at the lake and see the ships arriving and departing. We also really enjoy the breakfast in the morning and the smores at night.

The cleanliness was absolutely awful. The stained sheets and linens to the oiled handprints left on the headboard. Not appropriate given the cost!

The hot tub was always either shut down or it was filled with unattended children.
While our room did have a balcony, it did not look at all like the photos. The bed was on the other side of the bathroom so there were no lake views from the bed.
We never received any housekeeping of any kind.
The rooms were very outdated.
For the price, I expected more.

Great patio rooms with a beautiful view of the walk. The hotel is perfectly located on the boardwalk perfect for evening strolls and if you’re lucky a local musician plays seas shanties. The rooftop pool was an added bonus!

I thought that the hotel is just not what it used to be. The rooms seem a bit rundown and not even sure what they are doing with breakfast. The staff was nice about checking in was a bit busy but staff was very friendly. The biggest complaint is that the hotel is just not very nice anymore and the breakfast was very lousy.
