Pune is a very polluted city, so it must be difficult to keep the interior fittings in hotels dust-free. However, the Ramee Grand was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the level of service reflects the guest ratings - not as good as tip-top hotels in India, but still of a high standard. The food in the vegetarian restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the waiter made some great recommendations. There are non-veg options in the oriental fusion restaurant. The only negative was that I'd been messaging on the hotels.com app to ask if I could stay an extra night, as my original flight was cancelled last minute and I would be arriving a day early. Unfortunately, they did not respond and I arrived at the hotel late at night, only to find it was completely full. They did contact a nearby hotel for me and I was able to stay there, but keeping an eye on any messages and responding quickly would have meant I could have booked somewhere else in advance.

Good variety of food at breakfast friendly and helping staff at the hotel. We enjoyed our 4 days stay at the hotel Suggest the hotel that the carpet outside rooms should be vacuumed and kept a little more clean. Overall the hotel is clean.

The property is overall very clean. The rooms, the lobby and other areas are very clean. The staff is generally very friendly but the room service staff needed a couple of reminders for a few items we needed. The buffet breakfast very nice and offered a lot of choices. The only suggestion I'd have is if they can do anything to reduce the usage of plastic water bottles and serve purified water through Aqagard or some other such solution. Overall, a very nice experience.

Room is good. Comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Has most of the essentials that one needs. Location is perfect. Right behind FC road. What it was lacking though was restaurant service. I am guessing their main restaurant mirchi is closed for dinner though no one told us about this. Nevertheless we went to the common first floor one. And it was so dimly lit. Someone was shouting orders in the nearby kitchen all the time. And food quality was below average :( We Actualy skipped breakfast the first day hence.

Fine hotel. The only gripe I'd have is that they said they would organize a car for pick up from Mumbai airport, which worked out fine in the end. They said they would send a confirmation email. However this took 6 or 7 phone calls before the confirmation, lot's of "phone back to be sure", and promises to send the email, but nothing done. The first in our party to arrive checked at reception for the second car, but they were very unhelpful. I'd have been much happier if they'd just said they couldn't be bothered with the car, and I'd have got it somewhere else. Huge frustration right up to landing, the kind of stress that could have easily been avoided by the hotel staff.
