Gorgeous property. Our room was Toad Hall. It was historic and super charming. The breakfast was five star. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had an okay experience. Our room was clean and comfortable. The way the staff make you feel is not so good. Perhaps, the biggest mistake is the rigidity of breakfast which is strictly by individual time slots. This may work for the hotel but our observation and personal experience is that it doesn’t always work for a guest who is on holiday and may be needing to leave at a certain time to catch flights. Due to the fact we had a flight on our check out day we waited to speak to the lady who seemed to be in charge at breakfast yesterday morning (we think she may be the owner) and asked if we could have an earlier time slot this morning for breakfast as we needed to get away for our flight. She asked us if 7:45am would work and we said it would. We saw her write it down on a piece of paper. When we arrived at 7.45am this morning we were told that our breakfast time is 8.30am. We said that we had requested the earlier time yesterday and were seated. However, we waited for 25 minutes and our food still had no signs of arriving. This is despite a very large party of cyclists in Lycra who we saw order after us being served their food. In the end we had to leave without breakfast. When we went to checkout the lady (same one who seemed to think we were misbehaving by arriving early to breakfast) was very odd. There was no comment like - “we hope you had a nice stay” or “thanks for staying with us we hope to see you soon” or any normal pleasantries. It is just an odd sort of place.

Two female cousins who travelled together. We stayed in Toad Hall and it was perfect and adorable. Check-in was simple and quick, the cottage was lovely and cool (we arrived on a day over 30C), and the walk to town was quick (under 15 min). We used the pullout couch, which was easy to do. Caution for those with mobility issues: The stairs to the second floor are a little steep. If two people (not a couple) stay together, one disadvantage is that the bathroom is on the second floor in the main bedroom, so some may be concerned about privacy. For us, it wasn't an issue. Also, the breakfast was amazing and quick. We loved the BnB!

The room had a private patio for enjoying the warm weather. The dining room has lots of window with lovely views of the property. A selection of options were offered for the included breakfast. Enjoyed our stay.

The Tattingstone Inn property is a quaint set up, just minutes away from downtown Wolfville. I loved the gardens and patio seating and the accommodation. I had booked a deluxe cottage for myself and my parents and stayed just one night, but I wish I had stayed longer. All the amenities you'd possibly need after a tiring travel are available in the cottage. The only thing I didn't like was the wash basin in the bathroom. It seems like a trivial thing to mention in a review, but it was too small to even brush your teeth properly at or wash your face without spilling water all over the floor or hitting your head on the cupboard above. Everything else was a delight. The staff are especially polite and attentive.
