The room had a horrible stench. They never cleaned out the room even though our stary qualified for the room to be cleaned. The front desk person was super rude, I also don't this $150 deposit is necessary for a 2-night stay, there are no incidentals, no mini bar, and no restaurant. I am a Marriot Elite member but will NEVER stay at this hotel again

Things were ok - average larger room

The Marriott names doesn’t appear in any communications. Forced to use 3rd party for reservations. Location requires quick turn, not obvious. No instructions for digital thermostat.

Room was excellent .Nearby ,handful of restaurants present as well.The staff are very helpful and very courteous.

The bed didn't have a proper mattress hence quite uncomfortable .Breakfast choices were extremely limited.Not enough meat items.Considering that international tourists frequent this hotel ,breakfast has to be improved to cater to foreign tourists as well.

i liked how the room layout was for our suit. the location was accessible.

the room was dirty from the start. There were stains on the curtains, lamps, left over random stickers on the wall, sticky stuff on the floor. The front desk guys were laughing when trying to explain breakfast times and such, just gave off an odd vibe.

Parking was $20 a day, a bit expensive, but actually could have done street parking. The breakfast was good value, but the breakfast room was quite small

They charge my card for the full amount after I had already paid online. It took almost 4 weeks to get my money back. Also, some of the staff seemed very nonchalant and unprofessional.

The front desk staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. This was the 3rd Marriott property we stayed at in a week as we were traveling with family to see family.

Two bedroom suite we were in was next to street. Traffic was loud into the late night.

Free parking was appreciated. Easy to get to. Excellent beds. Nice selection of snacks at expensive rates. Really good coffee.

Breakfast was not good. Never had hard scrambled eggs before and don’t want them again. There were no facecloths only hand towels which made washing up difficult. Water pressure in shower was terribly weak.

Overall the location was great and close to many things.

The breakfast wasn’t the best. It was average.

We had called the hotel on three separate occasions to request an early check in on the day of check in. However, do to time constraints with us coming in from San Diego, Ca, we called the third time to let them know that are arrival would be after 10 pm. When we got to the hotel, the staff member behind the counter informed us that the original room that we had reserved could not be given to us because of a maintenance issue with the plumbing not working in the 1 bedroom suite we had reserved. They offered us a studio room; however, they wanted to charge us the same amount as the 1 bedroom suite. A studio is always a lessor price that a 1 bedroom suite. By now a second staff member came to assist, but no avail. They told us that their first come first serve policy was more important and that they could not adjust the rate. They wanted for use to book the studio room at the same rate for the 1 bedroom suite which was unethical. I asked for some proof in writing that they were not going to charge my credit card then lie and say that we never showed up. They refused to provide a written statement. Then the second guy threatened to call security to remove us from the property. Subsequently, we did not stay at this hotel. We went somewhere else where our business as customers was appreciated. I will never ever do business with TownePlace Suites Los Angeles LAX Manhattan Beach ever again. They just wanted to gouge us by paying a higher rate than what the room was worth.
