From start to finish the whole experience was 1st class, Gerald and his staff went above and beyond to make the stay extremely pleasurable.

Excellent location in a quiet road but within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, harbour, etc. The welcome was friendly and chatty and this atmosphere continued for the whole of our stay. Parking on the street was easy and the area felt safe. Breakfast was of good quality and cooked to order.
The room and particularly the bathroom were a little small but there was plenty of light, a pleasant outlook so nothing to complain about!

The location in Seahouses near the shops and harbour. The problems with the shower. stiff sliding doors and a blocked drain, were dealt with promptly.
The breakfast was 08.00 to 09.00. This is a little early for us. The breakfast was good but just cerial and cooked/toast. Nothing like a croissant or muffins. Whilst I arranged to park on the site cars are normally left in the road overnight. There is no shelving in the bathroom to put creams, shampoos and other normal things for showering - it was probably designed by a man.

The property was clean and very well appointed. The breakfast was very good.
The bedroom was very tiny albeit with everything you needed in it. A very clever use of space but you had to enter it via the bathroom.

Easy access to everything we needed. Lovely and clean. Breakfast had a good selection on the menu. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and friendly home from home atmosphere.

Excellent communication re location and access to the property . Easy walking distance to the town . The restaurant recommendations were excellent . We had a lovely stay . Really enjoyed the cooked breakfast …

The location is excellent. It was the little things and touches that the owners make so special. They also go the extra mile when asked about places to visit and eat around the surrounding areas.

The room was poky and very small as was the en suite. The breakfast was very nice, esp vitally the poached eggs, but donning chefs trousers doesn’t make it a 4* rating🙈
