Excellent everything was just perfect. Staff very attentive. Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed our stay. Definitely returning there.

The breakfast choice was superb and all freshly cooked a bonus not having a usual buffet. The bedroom we had was excellent and the bathroom was spacious. The friendliness of all the staff was a pleasure, nothing was too much trouble and everything came with a smile, which makes a great difference. The outside terrace was a real bonus in the beautiful weather and was used for all meals. The food was good and there was an excellent choice on the menus, not only the usual, but a very thoughtful mix of some very interesting dishes, including a brunch menu available from am to 5 pm. shows some thought had been given to the food preparation and choices.

Only something minor. The bathroom lighting is carefully designed, excellent, but not bright, so a makeup/shaving mirror would be a good addition. Also a box of tissues would be useful.

Really welcoming and helpful staff. Tracy went out of her way to make sure I was happy with where I stored my bike and the restaurant staff were all so friendly and helpful.

Very good. Plenty of selection. Waitresses good abd helpful. Nothing too much trouble.

Toilet was a little cramped. Not a lot of room to manoeuvre. ie. reaching loo roll. Especially as we're in our 79's

The staff were excellent, everyone very friendly and professional, especially as we arrived on a busy Sunday Lunch. Location , car parking and facilities all very good. The breakfast was excellent value for money.

Only downside for us was the mattress was extremely firm.

Good location and well thought out rooms at this bar/restaurant/hotel. The interior design was nicely done and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast menu was excellent! I only opted for a humble croissant (which was delicious) but the range of options available that were cooked on site was very impressive.

Nothing to dislike but would make one constructive comment - would have been nice to have a bit more variety on the welcome tray (biscuits and instant coffee for those of us who are not so keen on the coffee pods). The only other thought was whether it was viable to create a 'check in' area for accommodation in the entrance area for the rooms. Some of the pubs with accommodation I have stayed in around the country have done that and it does make for a more relaxing check in/arrival experience for guests.

Inflexible with checking in time and the staff were abrupt. Sat in restaurant for over 20 minutes waiting for custard for our crumble. We were unable to get any help from the restaurant staff. We decided to eat it without as the crumble was almost cold. When we left the restaurant to return to the bar the staff were talking to the manager and repeatedly looking out us. A member of staff approached us rudely and demanded that we sign the restaurant bill. The table for the restaurant had been booked directly from our room booking and the hotel had taken details of our payment card on check in. Hard bed. Noisy room Room too hot to sleep.
