A decent spot to stay on the edge of town near the lake. A bit of a walk from the centre, but relatively peaceful. Small rooms, fairly functional, shared bathrooms are alright. Kitchen area is reasonable. WiFi is a bit temperamental. As with most places in the town, it's overpriced for what you get but on par with the higher tourist rates in the area. Staff are generally welcoming and helpful, can be a little pushy with booking tours through them which can easily be arranged independently if you wish.

the owners are the best people in the world. offered many options for how to spend time, booked the necessary excursions and taxis. The room is great for two, we even had enough space with a small child

The only negative is that the hot water in the shower disappears very quickly. only takes a few minutes

The main area (where folks could chill & interact) was really beautiful and has a nice view of the lake in front.

The main area (where everyone cooks/ have their meals etc) was very noisy even after official lights out, the rooms itself felt very squeezy and there were lots of unofficial movement around the rooms/ hostel as to where or who were staying (felt like the place was overbooked).

Really great place! Amazing, calm location very close to Laguna Nímez. Super nice apartment with everything one needs, and very friendly and helpful hosts. Would warmly recommend! :)

This hostel is a true backpacker place with the host and guests coming together to grill and chat and party. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the location directly at the lagoon is very beautiful. I highly recommend the place!
