Overall size of property is massive and the views are spectacular. The hot tub inside finishes the villa off. The taxis will not drive down the road to the villa as its so bad. If you have any walking difficulties this is not the villa to go to unless your getting a car. Old Carmen is a 20 minute walk, new Carmen 40 minutes and not a nice walk, up and down hills. The villa is lovely overall just shame about location.

We stayed in June this year only for a week sadly but we absolutely LOVED it. We had a hire car which I would definitely say is needed here. The check in process was perfect nice and simple, I don’t like the whole meet and greet process so this was ideal. The villa was even bigger than I thought.Nice and clean, pool was a great length, managed to do lots of swimming. I loved that it is quiet and so relaxing with the most idilic views. Loved all the entertainment. Will be looking for availability for next year, we always stayed in the same villa previous to this stay but this will now be our regular stay. Absolutely love it. Would be fab if AC was in the front bedroom too but it is in one of the double rooms so that’s great. Can’t wait to get back.

We stayed as a family group of 7 and a one year old. The villa was everything it said it would be. The location is just stunning. Yes, if you are not a keen walker, a car is essential but this is stated on the information. It was so peaceful. Everything we needed and more was there. The cot we requested was there and when we asked for a high chair it was there when we returned from a trip to Jameos del Agua (a favourite place and a must to visit if it is your first time) The pool was so clean. The hot tub and sauna another added bonus. The games area was well used too. If you are looking to get away from the world for a while it is the most perfect location. All the family would definitely recommend this Villa. Natalie was wondeful and replied quickly. THANK YOU

Just enjoyed 10 nights at this stunning villa with family, including our 2yr old toddler. The views are just breathtaking! The house was spotless when we arrived and the self check in was great. To say it is spacious is an understatement, plenty of room for us all to have our own space and do our own things if needed. The pool table and sports court were thoroughly used by us all and we enjoyed the quieter times indoors with poker, other card games and the huge choice of Blueray films were loved by the older kids. The utensils and crockery provided in the kitchen made cooking easy and we spent lots of time eating from home. The gated pool was fantastic and the kids were never out of it, including the baby pool which was great for our toddler. Perfect temperature. The Villa is situated down a long ‘off road’ track but we hired our own car which made this no problem at all. We did venture out with the buggy a few times, it only takes a couple minutes of struggling with the terrain before you reach a smooth path down to the harbour and main town which had plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. We wandered down to the cliff edge, scrambled down the rocks and did some snorkelling which was amazing, not suitable for the younger ones though. The only thing I would recommend for potential visitors is to take mosquito repellent, we all got attacked. Nothing the Villa owner could do to avoid this though. Excellent host throughout, will hopefully be back soon!!

The villa itself was lovely; the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped, the showers were great and the pool/outside space were perfect. We had a few issues with awful drain smells which unfortunately couldn't be fixed whilst we were there but Natalie tried her best and was very good at coming back to us. The big problem we had was the 'dirty' road that you have to drive down to get to the villa. We had seen other reviews about taxis not willing to go down it but thought we would be fine as we all like to walk... however, we hadn't thought about getting our heavy cases down the road nor about shopping and water... Natalie did warn us about this a few days prior to our stay and said that the villa is advertised as 'car essential' although I couldn't actually find this on the listing. We personally wanted to get away from driving whilst on holiday but do bear this in mind as not one taxi driver would go down the road for us. And it certainly isn't suitable for toddlers and pushchairs.

Our family of 5 spent 2 wonderful weeks at this villa.. it is so spacious with a great sized pool & beautiful views. It was so well equipped the kitchen was like cooking at home with everything needed, beds very comfy, nice bathrooms, used the hot tub but being inside it was a bit too warm in August. Pool table got lots of use with family tournaments, WiFi very good. Movie buff daughter loved all the dvds! We had one issue but Natalie dealt with it as quickly as possible. A pump to blow up inflatables would be a valuable addition & we were very warm at night without air con, fans helped but only a little, also as a light sleeper being so open it can be very windy & noisy at night but I did soon get used to the fact it was just the wind! But small things in comparison to how good our time here was. We didn’t hire a car & managed fine, we really enjoyed the walk to & from Peurto del carmen even at night it wasn’t an issue but for someone with mobility issues it does involve a climb up some steep slopes. The taxis we got back to the villa were happy to take us to it, but we did struggle to book them from the villa only time this was an issue was getting to the airport with our cases! we booked any taxis from outside Hankey pankeys bar a 10 minute walk away this & the highlander 2 were both great bars for food, drinks & entertainment & perfect to end the evening to avoid an uphill walk back. The spar shop is here also. The walk in the other direction to puerto callero is very picturesque & worth doing although not too much to do there, except for some nice bars & restaurants around the marina, we often walked it & back early in the morning before it got too warm for the exercise, a beautiful cliff top walk. If looking to go out on a boat would highly recommend the mini cruise (we did the 3pm) it was the cheapest & we were so fortunate to be joined by dozens of dolphins very magical & apparently the only trip that day to see them.. we also then stopped for a swim directly under the villa which was cool! Had lots of lovely meals & nights out in puerto del carmen spoilt for choice, but did join the local Facebook page where we got very good recommendations. If you walk all the way along the coast past the restaurants above marina that’s the best way to the beach.. closest about 20 minute walk. Had a great time & would love to return to the villa again!

It was a very easy (self) check in process. Villa was wonderful with beautiful view. Our family loved the jacuzzi, heated swimming pool and the pool table. we hired a car and so easy to get things from local supermarket (and they sell halal chicken too, to our surprise). Highly recommended

We stayed for 12 days over Christmas and had a fantastic time. We were 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The house was perfect for us, so spacious, and clean. We spent a lot of time at/in the pool...the views were just incredible! The pool table, jacuzzi and badminton court were also great. The kitchen was so well equipped. The owner was really responsive and helpful. The wifi was good, with 3 teenagers we didn't get any complaints! Beds comfy. It was also so nice to have ensuite bedrooms and not have to share. We personally loved the location as it was away from the town and was so peaceful. We often walked to Puerto Del Carmen old town for dinner (15 min along the cliffs, a very easy walk). We also enjoyed the walk to Puerto Calero in the other direction (45 min). There are some lovely restaurants in both. The villa is down a dirt track but we had a small hire car and never had a problem driving up and down (just a bit bumpy). We couldn't fault anything and would love to return. Thank you Nathalie.

The Towels were older than Gwen's from Gavin and Stacey and they weren't changed for the whole week. There was no ventilation in the master bedroom, small things I agree but there were many of these small issues. The Barbeque was old and corroded and quite dangerous. The TV set up was outdated and unfathomable. My review title is spot on. The owner needs to upgrade this tired, cash cow. The lack of communication from the owner speaks volumes.

Beautiful house, lovely pool, very understanding host, lovely maintenance manager, area stunning, beautiful sunsets was very sad to leave, will book again in a heartbeat. Thank you Natalie your home is beautiful, left some fabby toys for the pool, really miss the pool.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa. Everything was catered for, beds were comfortable, villa was spacious and well decorated. Views from the terrace were fantastic and it was so quiet. Walking distance to the harbour in Puerto del Carmen although I would recommend getting a hire car for your stay. All in all a fab villa - we’ll most likely be back!

Villa was very good and just as described in ad. Great location and ideal for our needs. We were there as 2 couples but with facilities would be great for families as well as groups of adults.

The villa is very large and well located. The bathrooms have been upgraded and the kitchen is particularly well equipped, including a washing machine. We particularly wanted a quiet location and prior to booking we did wonder about the villa immediately adjacent but it transpired that this is a private home and so there were no problems. Others reviewers criticised the access road. Parts of it are a bit rutted but we hired a standard car and encountered no difficulties. The location is good with only a fifteen minute walk to Puerto del Carmen which is quite buzzy and half an hour stroll to Puerto Calero which has a large marina and is more upmarket. There was roof-mounted solar heating for the pool together with an air-source heat pump but the circulation system was not functioning and so the water was cold. I did discuss this with the pool lady but she was unable to help. I don't think anyone would be disappointed if they rented this villa, subject only to the pool being warmer.

Arrived after a surprisingly good flight with Ryanair. Baggage collection, customs & car hire collection all sorted very quickly & easily. Directions to villa were good, although we did overshoot the left turn down the track to the villa. As per other reviews, track was a bit bumpy in places but didn't cause us any issues in our hire car - we even walked it a couple of times at night to go to El Toro restaurant (torches strongly recommended). All arrival instructions were clear & we gained entry to the villa without any issue & we were all delighted with what we discovered upon entering the property - clean, spacious, well kept & the arrival pack was a great addition as it saved having to go out to the shops straight after arrival. For us, the villa was ideally situated between Puerto del Carmen & Puerto Calero, with both being within walking distance & being away from other properties meant it was quiet but we did not have to worry about making noise as there was no-one else around to hear us! Over the course of our 2 weeks we made full use of all of the amenities. Many games of pool were played throughout the day & night, with all of us improving our game. We purchased a couple of basket balls in Puerto Del Carmen on the first day & after that the basket ball net got an incredible amount of use with all sorts of different games being played. The badminton court also got some use although the level of wind made it quite challenging to play. The pool, sunbeds & BBQ got plenty of use throughout the holiday as you would expect. Having the hot tub & sauna available was the icing on the cake - both were great to be able to relax in after either a day out or a day by the pool. Almost everything about the villa was spot on, with only the intermittent internet connection causing some angst for the 2 teenage boys. We ate out numerous times & El Toro, with its amazing steaks, was a firm favourite although it is not the cheapest. Lunch cooked over the volcano was special too. The boys & I really enjoyed the submarine trip out of Puerto Calero, not often you get a chance to go that far under the surface! Connie, the lady who cleaned the pool & hot tub, was a great source of information & tips & was a pleasure to talk to, helping to add to our experience. The trip home to the UK went really well & we arrived home relaxed & refreshed but sad that it was over. This was one of the best family holidays we have ever had & all of us would love to do it again.
