Very well equipped room. Very comfortable, cosy bed. Excellent bathroom/shower. Very nice breakfast included in the rate. The staff were very friendly.

There was no warning from the hotel that the road would be closed due to a Christmas fare at check in or booking. Was unable to leave the car park after check in, evening time. Moreover, the restaurant wasn’t open at time of stay. Was informed at check-in and noted in brochure that breakfast was at 07:00, serving didn’t start until 07:30. Unusual smell coming from the mini bar fridge.

The Hotel was fabulous in every way - very cosy, extremely friendly staff and a lovely 'Kitchen' Bistro for breakfast & lunch. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was fantastic, as was the warmth in the bedrooms. Bed was very comfortable. An express supermarket & coffee shops nearby. In a nice area. The renovation of the building is amazing & each room has it's own features.

Couldn't complain about anything. If I had to be really picky, I didn't have any view from my window & a bigger desk space to work from would have been a bonus.

My very late booking was handled by Demi who even managed to book us a table in the restaurant at very short notice . The food was outstanding as was the service by especially Molly whom it was a pleasure to meet. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff , the room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too , We will definitely be returning.

The weather but that is not something the hotel can do much about.

beautiful decor, the rooms are absolutely stunning. The whole place is so beautiful with gorgeous touches and scents throughout. The staff are so lovely and helpful, they can’t do enough for you. Lovely drinks and food, the breakfast is always delicious! Would recommend to anyone.

A fantastic hotel which has gone through an incredible renovation. I read all about it in the morning and then felt guilty I did not dine the evening before. Hotel was lovely and my room was stunning, I enjoyed my stay very much. I’m looking forward to coming back with colleagues and on my personal time.

The mini bar did not appear to be working, the drinks were warm and not cold.

Breakfast was fabulous as were the check in staff & night staff. Especially the guy who showed us to the gym at 10pm and then came back with a bottle of water for us without us asking. Friendly and helpful staff Thank you

Book service was very confusing, and not good, I stressed at the time of booking, that I was paying for 2 rooms as they were guests, I told my guests the rooms were prepaid, only to find my guests were being charged on the morning of departure, so I had to go to the Hotel to sort it out, very embarrassing, even more frustrating that I called the hotel on the night of booking to confirm the details, I will not be going back

I dropped a valuable item down the sink as there was no cover/grate in the hole or a plug available and due to the design of the sink it could not be retrieved from the ubend. Although i appreciate it was my fault for dropping the item it is usually standard for there to be a cover of the hole in a bathroom sink or at least a plug available, especially when the design of the sink is such that the pipes cannot be accessed. Luckily it was not something precious like a ring. Other than this it was a pleasant stay and the staff were very helpful but on the whole frustrating that the sink hole was not protected and that my item could not be retrieved when usually accessing a ubend is fairly simple.

Very clean and excellent facilities and the service was fantastic. Attention to detail and good quality toiletries and appliances in the rooms.

Superb Sunday lunch

Breakfast was OK but had better. Bacon seemed to have been cooked rolled up, so some was too crispy other half under cooked, eggs over cooked like mine to be runny.

Lovely hotel but room a bit small, coffee making facilities provided but have to get the whole tray from out of the cupboard and then not really enough room to put on dressing table area.
