Lovely place to stay with easy access to Filey.Brilliantly presented cottage our only fault would be the internet which was nonexistent but it wasn’t a problem to us as we turned the hotspots on on our phones.

We had a lovely stay and the hosts were very helpful. Beautiful beach and lots of other attractions around. Just a note to say most of the local takeaway/ deliveries are cash only. The WiFi was very unreliable so expect to hotspot your phone but this is stated in the property description. All in all we were very happy with our stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Well equipped, comfortable and great base to go and explore from. 5min drive into Filey and the beach, 20mins to both Scarborough and Bridlington.
Already recommended to friends as they were interested in exploring this area.

Very old farmhouse converted into two cottages, very spacious for just us two. Fully equiped kitchen area, tv in lounge and both bedrooms. Outside table and chairs ample parking. Is on slip road near busy main road but could hear no traffic noise at night. We soon found the short cut country path past caravan park into Filey near the roundabout on left which comes out to Filey Park and cafe. In all no complaints and excellent value for money even forgiving a poor WiFi connection which comes and goes.

We had a lovely week staying in Filey Cottage. It was immaculately clean and comfortable and in a great location for walking in to Filey either along the road or through footpaths. Also convenient for exploring the coast and the North York moors. We absolutely fell in love with Filey and would highly recommend.

From booking the holiday to all the information I was given about the accommodation was so easy to follow. Lovely little cottage. Great spot. Just a 15 minute walk into Filey centre. Was met by Caroline who gave us plenty of information. Really roomy cottage. Lovely and clean. Would definitely recommend. I will be booking again.

We would love to revisit here. The blackout blinds in the bedroom is fantastic for me being light sensitive. Clean throughout and very comfortable.

Two retired couples in our group.
Our accommodation was sparkling clean with a nice outside area and ample parking. Comfortable beds and everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Semi rural location approx 1 mile walk into town and a little further to the beautiful beach.
Golf and pool swimming close by as well as various walks.
Highly recommend this property. The owners were unobtrusive and answered our questions in a timely manner.

Straightforward to book and quick responses.
Property spotless, well equipped and well-situated a 15ish minute walk from the seafront.
2 items to address:
*shower screen needs a new seal;
*difficult to open door to downstairs loo
Otherwise perfect and we had a great holiday, thank you.

Best of both worlds
Although essentially a rural property and very quiet with views over fields to Bempton Cliffs in the distance it is on the doorstep almost of Filey. Lovely stay and we would return.

Lovely place short walk from town
Stayed with my friend and her 18m old daughter.
It was a great place, clean, had everything we needed and an easy walk into town / the beach. Would recommend staying here.

The quality of furnishing was to a high standard and well thought out. Was easy to relax but then have a 3-4 min drive or around a 15 min walk to the town/seafront.

This cottage was so right for me and my friends beds was comfy lots of space Kitchen and utensils were spot on and also love having a downstairs toilet and Bathroom and toilet upstairs The host greeted us gave us the key We was a little early
But cottage had been cleaned so we were allowed in

Nice quiet location
The property was very good only small things could make it better . My sister and myself felt that a curtain or blind on the main door would have made us feel less exposed at night when the light was on you could see into the kitchen and living area. The two other small things which would have been helpful were a full length mirror and a hairdryer otherwise perfect. Johanna and Gina Camp

a gem of a place
we would like to keep this cottage a secret so it would be available when we want to visit Filey again, but l guess we have to share it, lol, the cottage was so warm and comfy, everything you could need is in there, great parking, the wi-fi was hit and miss, but was told that before we booked, we were kept upto date from the owners from booking, we just loved it and will be going back,

Excellent stay
Beautiful cottage with lovely fittings and surrounding countryside. Very light and airy and spacious. Excellent location for accessing that area. There were only 2 of us staying but the twin bedded room was actually locked off during our stay.

The king size bed is quite low, this may be a problem for someone less mobile and the mattress is quite firm. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

A lovely cottage
This was a lovely little cottage that suited our needs perfectly. It had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, and it was warm and toasty. We used it as a base for exploring the nearby area, and would gladly return.

Real find loved it
The cottage exceeded all expectations it was perfect . Location ideal for beaches and using as a base to tour the area.
.Plenty of space ,well equipped kitchen very clean, freezer, dishwasher fab , lots of storage.clothes airer handy for wet swimsuits
Main bedroom loved it bed so comfortable, black out blinds ,room is just beautiful. My 12 years old daughter was thrilled a telly in her room end of bed.
Big comfortable sofas bonus a DVD player. We spent a lot of time outside sat on bench.

Our second visit to this lovely clean cottage in good location with everything we needed. Pleasant short walk to Filey beach via Centenary Way. Local transport easily accessible. A very good holiday.

Another Lovely Stay
This is our second stay at Mill Farm Holiday Cottages and again we’ve had a great time. We absolutely love Filey & staying here definitely tops off the experience.
The cottage is clean & spacious and ideal for families. Our 3 year old loves the outdoor area & the small park down the road. The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!

what a lovely cottage,clean and tidy with plenty of space
had a wonderful time cottage was excellent.

It was described as luxurious and with very little time and money it could be.
From the outside it looked a bit grim with garden furniture that was old and if you sat on it got splinters and grime on your clothes. Inside the main problem was when you opened the window the dead insects on the frame was disgusting !! Also the shower head had to be cleaned before use. But apart from this very nice Bedding lovely which is always a bonus.

Lovely holiday in Filey!
Really enjoyed our stay in Filey. Filey Mill Farm was in an excellent location & close to the amenities in the town centre. We liked that we knew we had parking at the cottage which was a big plus for us. The cottage was lovely & clean & had everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler loved playing outside in the little garden area which was great. We will definitely be back!
