The room is big.

Really noisy by next door (staff room) , upstairs someone was running and jumping. Doesn't have the doors closer, waking up by all of doors closed. No idea fire rate who inspect the door. Can't close the windows above the door. Too bright. The ground floor was too noisy by car parking. Really disappointed such noise stay to choose such country side. Very unconvinced, no shop, no restaurant. The Internet was such slow, only 0.86M, TV was only pree view, the landscape and church need maintenance, look like deariness and horrific other buildings on site. Could not get sleep at all after long way during. Very disappointed stay.

beautiful buildings & decor, comfortable and quiet. a spiritual & physical sanctuary. The chapel and Art work provided rich reflective spaces.

There was no microwave but was happy to use the oven in the staff room. It’s an insurance issue why there’s no microwave in the room I am happy with that

Very comfortable family unit. Quiet peaceful grounds. Friendly staff. Ideal for a family stay.

It's a wee distance from Oamaru town (10 to 15 minute drive).

The man who check us in was amazing offering to help with bags friendly giving us information on the place. The room was nice comfortable

I loved location, the character of the building and the room.

This resort needs a dining room and snack bar.

The bathroom draw had hair in it the table draw had food crumbs in it and there was tea and coffee but no sugar and no milk. It's a shame as I have stayed here before and had an amazing experience

Both beautiful and eerie.

Beautiful hotel and very well set up room. It was very spacious and well set out for a larger fmaily size. The hotel was very warm and the manger was helpful. It is a peaceful location not too far from the town.

The room was extremely spacious, clean, and tidy. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. We loved being shown inside the chapel by the manager. Great display at the front entrance on the history of the place. Easy 10 minute driving distance from Oamaru and approximately 20-25 minute drive to Moeraki Boulders.

Very tastefully decorated and lovely and quiet. We like to stay in places with a bit of history and this certainly ticked the box. Large room but once heated we were very cosy.

There were no meals available at the property which is in the countryside, this was no probelm for us as Oamaru has some great dining.

It is a very quiet and nice place to stay. Everything is new, clean. Very soft beds))) a big territory. The stuff is nice and friendly

Friendliness of staff. Cleanliness of rooms. Historical buildings.

It just needs a bit of interest added to the rooms (maybe some artwork on walls) and a little bit of updating in rooms as far as TV, extra heating in bathrooms etc. You also just need to be prepared food wise as Oamaru is approximately 15mins drive away and only microwaves in rooms for cooking.

Unfortunately the dining room wasn't open at the time we stayed there. But easy drive into Oamaru.

Because the restaurant was not open food like crisps, cheese and crackers would have been nice.

It was absolutely lovely and great value for money. We will definitely be back. Brendan was a great host

Would like to see a bowl for the microwave, bin liners, salt and pepper and hand towels! 🤗
