Habitación chica. Cama ubicada de manera tal que solo se podía ingresar por un solo lado. Muy cerca de la pared. Malo el colchón. Sábanas con olo a humedad. No limpiaron la habitación ni el baño. Ni hablar de hacer la cama. Poca luz.

Loved the lively atmosphere, welcoming staff (especially Noah who checked us in), easy to find location and quiet next to a park. Comfy bed and very good shower. Would recommend!

Helpful staff, very clean, well equipped room, proximity to the city centre.
Breakfast menu was quite limited. There wasn't any yoghurt/granola/ fruit options so we ended up going elsewhere for breakfast.
It was qute noisy until the pub shut at midnight.

Lovely room, comfy bed, sound proof windows, warm, amazing shower, a coffee machine, perfect location. The list goes on. Great staff, fab pub, delicious Sunday lunch, perfect guiness. My best stay in Cardiff yet in 3 years of visiting (I've tried most of the accommodation in cathedral road) this is the best yet!
Check out was 11am and I wanted to leave my luggage whilst I went out(as offered in the property information folder) I also didn't realise the pub below was closed until midday so no breakfast(looked delicious) and I had to carry my heavy luggage around until my train at 1.30pm I did contact the out of hours number given in the room but no reply to text, no answer when I phoned. Didn't even know where to leave the key as exit separate from the hotel /pub entrance

Location was perfect and so nice to see a different side to Cardiff. Would highly recommend to everyone and will definitely be back not just for another stay but for food & drinks.

Food still available up to 9pm - much appreciated after a 6 hour journey (arrived 8.30pm)
Very near to where I was visiting / working the following day.
All was fine for my requirements - only there from 8.30pm till 7.30am the following morning. Nothing negative to report.

The room was beautiful, spacious, decorated so nicely and the bed was very comfy
Our room was freezing cold, cranked the radiator up all the way but still had to sleep in our clothes, and there was some beard hair that wasn’t cleaned off in the bathroom by the mirror

Excellent location near the Taff River & park/Cardiff Castle/main road, 4 minute walk to the National Express bus station, friendly & helpful staff, pub right downstairs with good food and drinks. Appreciated the easy late night entry option (used it last time I stayed here)
My room was quite spacious and comfortable
Stayed on a Saturday night and noticed some muffled noise from the pub. Knew to expect it, though it didn’t really bother me.
The pub kitchen closes at 21:00 on Saturday night, which was inconvenient for me. obviously not terrible, just my own issue [still managed a very nice late-ish meal and drink, though had to order the whole meal at once to beat the ‘deadline’]

Location, lovely decor/design, very friendly and accommodating staff; good value for money; delicious hot chocolate and high quality teabag / coffee maker in room; pub with food downstairs and lovely outdoor bar area
No breakfast on weekdays!; mattress in Room 2 had sunk on one side; windows needed a wash; only one tea bag each left in room for two night stay, room and corridors felt like they needed a good carpet clean, chipped woodwork.

Fantastic value for money, clean, nicely decorated, bottles of water with tea and coffee in the room. Staff told us everything we needed to know about the night entrance and were all really friendly.
Duvet was really thick so was very hot in the room.

Good location, an easy walk into the city centre. Modern pub with good food and parking. It was a nice touch to have bottled water provided, in glass bottles too!
The 'cosy' room was very small. It was difficult to get around to my side of the bed. The kettle still had water in it from a previous occupant.

It's a quirky accommodation with interesting deco and pet friendly! It's over a pub so it's something to consider but it didn't bother us (the noise level was not an issue). As the room didn't have a fridge, the staff were very accommodating and stored our pooch's food in the fridge. The location is also superb (walking distance to the castle and centre). We're definitely booking in again when in Cardiff!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was nice and the decor of the room itself was also nice.
The noise levels are quite high. It’s not the place for light sleepers. We were kept awake by the closing down of the pub until shortly after midnight, which was fine. However the noise from the metal bed in the room above was unbearable all night. We did ask to change rooms however there were advised they were fully booked, so we left and received a refund. Staff were very apologetic and helpful.

Quiet and cosy atmosphere in the establishment did not feel busy, hectic or noisy.

I did a double booking for friends, but ended up with a really small room. The room and bed was small.
Room wasn’t particularly clean. A half drunk bottle of water found under a chair summed it up.
